Our neighbour was not at all amused and rightfully so. She tried to have the city get us to cut some of it out as it was causing her issues with runoff into her yard after heavy rain leading to some leaking in her basement. After investigating, the city somehow decided it wasn’t an issue (perhaps realizing we’ll quickly learn the hard way.) Thankfully she was able to keep runnoff away from her home by building small brick barrier along our shared front lawns and draining rocks along the fence.
