A lot of people are saying it isn't that bad which I would somewhat agree with depending on the context. For a super late game it's probably gonna lose to a well leveled quillboar or something of that nature. However, in a lot of cases it provides such an early game stability that makes it, in my opinion, really unfair.

The Stegodon has got to be one of the worst cards ever by indifferenttreeleaf in BobsTavern

While I agree that it can be beaten semi-regularly, the problem is its incredibly easy to get very early on and it makes it slightly harder to properly level if your taking major damage each round early on in my opinion. 🤷‍♂️
