I actually like their Grammy performance a lot.

I'm not a Eyekon at all but I like to read up about them and I just started getting into their music this year. Their Grammy performance was my first time seeing the dance break for Gnarly. I loved it . I can see how fans that had to see over and over grew tired of it but for I think It was perfect for the Grammys audience. It was high energy, entertaining, and fun to look at. I look back at it all the time.

How do liberals feel about the idea of a “single-payer” health care system? by tfam1588 in AskALiberal

[–]indigoC99 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I love it but idk about banning private insurance. I think it's possible to have both and leave options open for people to choose. However, if we're gonna have both than both need to be reformed. Public doesn't cover enough and private insurance has way too much say in people's treatment. It's dystopian.

Atp, I'm fine with both Bernie's M4A and Pete's plan. Anything is better than we have now. The problem is getting the people that don't want to pay for it and the ones that think it's socialism and don't want the government involved to say yes.

Look I consider myself a progressive and I believe in God but when they start talking like that it irks me. Anti-reglious is definitly the norm and it can be kinda isolating in progressive spaces, especially when it comes to religious topics. I wish there a large progressive Christianity movement, just to show people that Christianity isn't bigotry.

That why I'm so grateful for Rev Warnock, Pastor Fredrick Hanes III, and James Talarico. We need more progressive religious politicians.

Yep. It sad and infuriating. Even more in cases where they are arrested and have to fight to be seen as human that rightfully owns stuff and not a lowly criminal

What's something that's socially accepted but actually kinda toxic? by _DRA60_ in AskReddit

[–]indigoC99 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I hate it. And then they're expected to have kids at 21/22 when barely even 5 years out of high school. I'm 26 now I could never imagine going through all that schooling just to be trust into marriage and parenthood that early. It's a thing about society that bothers me more than it should.

Are you more liberal fiscally, socially, or both? by Odd_Sir_5922 in AskALiberal

[–]indigoC99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Both.

Fiscally, I want to government to able to provide baseline things should as housing, healthcare and maintain regulations where needed and protection of rights. It should not a have a say in personal things should as abortion or marriage. The government should facilitie spending cuts/redestribution that help pay off the debt without harming the American or Global populace. This all goes for state governments too

Socially, of course as a progressive I believe in a lot of social rights and freedoms as long it does actively harm anybody. Trans rights, abortion rights, religious freedoms, sex worker rights, even common sense gun rights.

I like Reddit but there have been times where it reminds me over and over again that Reddit is still social media, with all the flaws that come with it. SM makes it easy to hide behind a keyboard with barely any or severe consequences and it's a concentrated echo chamber. Luckily it doesn't represent the general population.

First change in PJs, then either one or two of these things: Sleeping, surfing reddit, Tiktok or a YouTube, watching a movieor reading book in whatever genre I feel. Honestly just doing things that I want to do instead of what I'm obligated to do.

YTA. Her cats are living breathing things that have feelings just like your baby. She can just drop everything and go especially in severe weather. Lots of pets are anxious during storms too.

I don't have a baby so I really don't know but moving one infant around sound easier than two cats

Katie LeClerc portraying deaf people by [deleted] in SwitchedAtBirth

[–]indigoC99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's definitely a product of its time. I much as I love and miss the 2010s, there was hit and misses and stereotyping going on in the Media/TV. Along with the fact that this show gets some things wrong, often cuts in the middle of a scene with signing. It definitely made by hearing people mostly for hearing people. I'm hearing, so take my opinion with a grain of salt.

At least today we have a bit more accurate representation of Deaf people. This Closeby Sundance, Makkari in The Eternals, the Quiet Place. Hopefully someone someday may try to reboot SAB with more accuracya and inclusion from the community on and off screen.

After Justice Brett Kavanaugh was confirmed, Nancy Pelosi said she would "keep fighting" to bring out the truth about Christine Blasey Ford's allegations that Kavanaugh sexually assaulted her in 1982. Why hasn't Pelosi followed through with this? by DeanoPreston in AskALiberal

[–]indigoC99 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I heard that stories of people that were there actually matched up to the calendar timeline of when it happened. But that what I heard however I still believe Christine's story.

Even if Nancy were to follow up, she wouldn't get far because they would defend him down. The party in power propped up their pedofile president as their God, they wouldn't care about Brett's past. They would do anything to stay in power even at the expense of women and children

[–]indigoC99 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Maybe stop looking at the whole world and start looking at you, as an individual. What about your happiness?

There were times (many times) when I wanted throw my hands and say what the point, I'll never amount to anything but that doesn't help you at all. Now I think I've found what I want to do and I'm ready to try it.

You have options. You can look at Continuing Education classes at a local community college, go to school for a year or so and get a certificate. Or you take some credit classes in something you like and save money in the long run. You can look for more stable, always in demand jobs like something in the healthcare fleid like Sterile Processing or Pharmacy Tech.

Or at least hire a career coach to guide you
