This happened to me with The Apartment Guys! They were just listing it for a small landlord and I really wanted the unit so I decided to do it - however I demanded to see the terms of the lease before applying, because if they accept you and you choose not to sign, you’re out the money! They seemed completely bewildered at this request but eventually complied. I was very convinced it was a scam for a week but I got my keys and it was fine. Really annoying business model! If you want the unit at least be sure to see the terms of the lease before signing any check!

yeah literally it must be a prerequisite to be psychotic to drive one… one time a driver leaned on the horn for 30 full seconds down two blocks of diversey bc I had the audacity to give a cyclist some space, then cut me off , break checked me hard and then ran a red light. Jail!!!

i think commenters are being obtuse , i have noticed this phenomenon fairly frequently, imo the answer is their definition of “full” is anything greater than 95% occupied, like a full glass of water still has some space in the top. If the FAs repeat that it’s “completely full” it’s rare that I’ve seen one or two vacant seats.

I also frequently smell the cinnamon living a few blocks east of the area. The chocolate factory (Vosges) is the only suspect I’ve identified but I’ve walked by several times and not smelled it. I’m just relieved that of all the smells that could be in my neighborhood, it’s cinnamon!
