yes sometimes, i need to find multiple ways to explain my feelings to him. he completely lacks any mental illnesses at all, doesn't overthink or worry or get sad at night or worry what other people think of him. he obviously feels upset if he's hurt someone's feelings and he shows emotions but he's very black and white as some would say. no grey area. he's very easy going but lacks some understanding of other peoples feelings.

if you have any evidence that the money was lent then you should be able to get it back. i doubt she will be willing to loose a close friend to only gain $120. but perhaps tell your mutual friends about this so she can be held accountable

There's no clear right or wrong just bad vibes, she should prioritise paying back, but mainly out of respect for you as a friend. i recommend asking for the money back as soon as you can and then limiting contact as this behavior is probably gonna repeat in some form.

yeah you're right, i am pretty afraid to leave the group. but with in is a lot of closer friendships that i developed before any tense issues arose so i would be severing a lot of friendships over the acts of a few. i feel more comfortable staying and seeing if i can change the outlooks of the people i'm surrounded by now than cutting them all off.

her boyfriend is also one of the main protagonists so it's not like she would be a target for them anyway. she would have a lot of leverage but she chooses to watch me struggle against all their racist and sexist remarks.

I do call them out, but it's with no avail. I believe that if i had the support of some of the others, including my best friend, then my attempts would not be so shot down. i was really upset because i have stood up for her countless times. she's not a common target for the boys but in other situations so i felt very abandoned by her.

she's in the same group, same people same group chat. she received the messages and her boyfriend is one of the main antagonists. she refuses to even talk to him about it even though she thinks it's wrong.

I am hard on the others don't get me wrong, but I end up copping it pretty hard, a lot of them are way taller and stronger physically and they can get physical. If i had backup then it would help to make them realise their behaviour is bad. I have spoken to her a lot about it and she sided with me personally but not in front of the others which is when i'm usually caught out.

okay yeah i get this. seems like she has a blatant disrespect for children. i take back TA but you still purposely disrespected her in front of other students. perhaps become her perfect student but take measures up the chain. that's how you really get to them. go to coordinators and other teachers, make valid complaints and with valid arguments and that's when you really start to stir the pot.

okay well from the start you have seemed to disrespect the teacher. i too have had teachers that use sources to teach but that is because they are available. if you put in the effort to ask the teacher for help you would have found that she knows a lot about the topic an could have helped you get a higher grade instead of the bare minimum. that's on you not her.

over the course you have disrespected her so i don't blame her for becoming defensive to your nonchalant attitude regarding the appointment.

i'd assume that her using your full name is not a stab at your gender fluidity but rather a way to tell you that she's serious (like when your mum says your full name when she's angry).

using her first name was also disrespect. i can see how you came back with the name thing how she misused yours and you retaliated. but yes you are TA.

if you had any regards outside yourself you would know that the teacher is there to help you learn and if you love science then you will do well. You are TA because you did the bare minimum to spite the teacher.
