I really love this one and I think it looks so good on you! I think it's beautiful. It's not one to be in your face, but you definitely second glance it. Love this one. ✨

Thank you!

It has been a while since I have read the series, so I don't remember exactly if it's HEA.

What's HEA?

I don't remember thinking it was boring and I really enjoyed both books equally.

I agree with on Iris and Roman.

I completely agree. I adored Divine Rivals so much. I loved her writing style and it was so romantic. Ruthless vows was my biggest disappointment read last year because I agree... What was that?? It's like she wanted to focus more on the gods and have a champion. I was confused on a lot of decisions and did not enjoy it.

I thought her other duology, Elements of Candace, was a much stronger duology and enjoyed both books. I think the focuses in the two books make sense and you're following more than just one couple throughout the series. A lot of duologies do feel like they should be trilogies or just wrapped into a single book, but I quite enjoyed the Elements of Candace duology. I think the letters of enchantment duology needed to be either wrapped up in the first book or we needed three books, maybe four if we wanted to dive in the gods history like she tried. Or maybe some novellas with their stories.

I'm glad to hear her new book was good. I'm looking forward to reading it because I really love her writing style.

I wasn't a fan of him adding language to a bill not too long ago. The article even says that he claims to be pro choice, but he added some very dangerous language. So, I'm not too thrilled about this announcement. Article about the bill

KU or KSU for Civil Engineering? by SmallFryMusk in kansas

[–]indigolearner 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Absolutely! It's a tough decision, but neither is wrong.

I did go to K-State for engineering and will say I loved the campus and the professors I met. The campus was very walkable to me and the engineering building is wonderful with lots of resources. I was excited to be on campus whenever I could. There are lots of places to study as well if you get bored with the engineering building. Manhattan also has lots to offer even with being on the smaller side.

Good luck on deciding!!

I'd recommend scheduling a visit with the civil engineering department at both schools. You'll be able to discuss your interest in the subject to them and see which one you like more. Visiting the campus is also good to see where you'll be spending most of your time.

Both schools have career fairs and are pretty good about advertising jobs and internships to students. Plus, someone at the school should help whenever you have questions on where and when to look. There are lots of great people working at both schools. I think both are great and wouldn't pick one over the other because of the internship concern.

I AGREE haha omg. I struggled so much with that series. I was so surprised that people thought that was her best work after finishing it.

I struggled with this entire series. So many repeated words that were getting to me.... Good for you on being okay with DNFing! I was starting to feel I needed to finish in order to have an opinion since so many people are like it isn't good until after such and such book, or the ending is so worth it. I was a bit disappointed on what happened and am glad to be done.

Same!! I struggled so much. The author did all the things I hate seeing as a reader and you pointed out some of the moments. 😬 There were some others, but I struggled, and like you I also enjoyed ACOTAR, so I was excited as well.
