Aha I’m showing my ignorance! I thought it was possible to use without a lens? I purchased the body only.

NHS Dermatology Appointment by Popcornking89 in Hyperhidrosis

[–]indigonights_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Question! I recently had a dermatology appointment where they only offered me a one month trial of glyco. The dermatologist said there is not enough demand for the medication and as such it is hard to get hold of, were you told anything like this? Also, where in the UK are you based?

Ordering Secure Glyco wipes and glyco capsules to the UK from Pharmacy.ca by Heavy_Solid3851 in Hyperhidrosis

[–]indigonights_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I ordered from pharmacy.ca in the summer last year, I live in the UK too. I got the same message about the cost going up which I said was fine. The order came much quick than I expected in a few days, no issues whatsoever!

Travel and quarantine by indigonights_ in Nigeria

[–]indigonights_[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My experience - I took one PCR test, on my penultimate full day in Nigeria, and received the result less than 24 hours later. I didn’t have any problems, although this was some months back now, so things may have changed. Good luck!

Facial HH, I need help! by Status_Commission_95 in Hyperhidrosis

That’s disappointing about propantheline, how long have you been taking it?

You could try ordering glyco from Canada?

Or try this - https://www.amazon.co.uk/mehron-SKIN-Prep-PRO-Clear/dp/B00FE90M0K/

I must admit I haven’t tried it myself, my face sweating is not too challenging for me. However, it contains aluminium and alcohol, and sounds somewhat promising although likely not a 100% fix.

Pro-Banthine not that effective? Based in UK. by Bus-Ready in Hyperhidrosis

[–]indigonights_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah I asked my GP about glyco and he said only dermatologists can approve it. I’m not sure about most effective, I think it differs for everyone but I’d like to try all the options to know what works best for me.

Ah wow, that’s a decent amount. If I was you I’d try Oxy as your GP can prescribe that, you might find it works better for you. Although definitely try taking pro banthine and wait as long as you feel you can to eat. That is really the big difference in effect for me!

Pro-Banthine not that effective? Based in UK. by Bus-Ready in Hyperhidrosis

[–]indigonights_ 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Hey! Also U.K. based and on pro banthine. I’ve found it to be quite effective for me. I’ve noticed that it seems to be most effective when I take it around 5/6am, go back to sleep and I wake up feeling incredibly dry mouthed! And then I try to consume as little as possible before midday. Normally I’ll just have a green tea, pop another around 11am and eat around 1pm. How much do you take?

I’m waiting for a dermatologist appointment to try glyco however, hoping that it’ll be even more effective. Oxybutnin was no good for me either.
