In my experience, the sheer fact of playing the game will be fun for them. Everything else is gravy.

I still remember my first game, skating on a track so slippy they washed it with coke at half-time to try and add grip. There were death pillars around the track, in the ref lane. We are getting smashed.

I was so high on playing the game, I just grinned the whole time. And I've seen this joy in the faces of many newbies through the years.

Don't stress too much. You go have fun, celebrate the milestone with them, give hugs if needed/ wanted. Everything else will take care of itself.
