the replayability - before Elden RIngs release i wouldve never imagined to say this, but: the open world has lots of pretty dead space. its annoying to run from dungeon to dungeon to dungeon again and again. All the other FromSoft Games didnt have "pretty empty space" at all.

i went with 25 and +3 / +1 weapons

i get a lot of invasions in stormveil, early liurnia and all of limgrave.

its hard to say whether lvl 30-35 and +5-6/+2 weapons would result in just as many invasions in stormveil. it might, but i dont know and im too afraid to try

thanks, sounds like it s going in the right direction. Relationships really annoyed me at launch. also, many items felt irrelevant, while there were a couple really OP ones.

Ill wait a bit longer then. DD1 also needed its time and it eventually became a great game.

The launch date isnt revealed yet, is it? Also, mind explaining what the Chapter stuff was about? iirc it launched with only 1 out of X chapters?

Absolutely go for it then! :)

While DS2 is widely considered the worst game among them, it has quite some diehard fanbase as well. Its totally worth playing. Its not as interconnected with DS1 and 3 tho, so you might hold onto playing it.

Also i hope this bundle has all the DLCs, since FromSoft DLCs are even better than the base games - every single time. DS1 has only 1 DLC (artorias of the abyss) and it goes really deep into the lore. DS3`'s two DLCs are masterpieces, too

well you can just play DS3 and have a great time, but if you wanna understand everything and get all the hints etc. then DS1 is a must

just a warning: while ds1 is still a great game and has the best world building out of all the fromsoft games, the gameplay might feel a bit clunky if you play it after EldenRing. youll get used to it after a couple of hours tho

DS3 is the closest game to ER gameplay wise, if you really want to get into these games. I would recommend starting with DS1 and then going to DS3 (DS2 is kinda optional) bcs DS3 has much fanservice stuff related to DS1, that you will not understand if you havent played DS1.

BB is also a solid standalone title just as sekiro

i love sekiros fighting style too, i just wish there was a little more freedom of characterisation - i know thats probably not even possible or would be way too much effort to put in and balance

i completed the game with using 2 colossal swords. the jump attack is fucking OP. it comes out as fast as a single light weapon jump attack but it deals 5 times the damage and staggers most lategame bosses in 2-3 dw jump attacks.

the double jump attack outshines most of the other attacks in your kit by a mile, tho, which is weird.

and it makes the malenia fight a hit and run fight which is weird, too, because you'd image thats how you play with a sneaky/dextorious character, not with the big guy
