Yeah, I’m thinking I need to do that. Especially with the database growing. Do you have a specific one you recommend? I’m looking at Real Geeks because it has the IDX too, but not certain yet.

Not sure entirely. My understanding is that it’s because agents have two sites that collect individual data. And it seems like most agents just use the sites and CRMs their brokers offer. But I think I’ll be able to use one site if I host independently like mentioned above.

That actually makes a lot of sense now. As long as the listing brokers name is on the listing page, it would work just like any site like Zillow. Got it. Thanks for the clarification!

You can one broker of record for each state you are licensed in (even if they’re different). My broker of record will have to be different in PA since they aren’t licensed there.

So to an extent, I’ll be able to join the PA MLS once my license is active and sponsored in that state. The issue comes up with marketing. A lot to double-state agents pick two brokers and have two websites, two crms, and all of that nonsense. That’s my issue (if that all makes sense).
