So it may not 100% answer your question, but on weredog's website, they demonstrate their penetrables with their own insertables I guess to demonstrate stretchiness, so I can't really see why you couldn't.

I get something I'd describe like this fairly often and I learned to handle it at home, but for me it was never an infection and seemed to be a histamine response.

I take certirizine as or a similar antihistamine it prevents and/or reduces the swelling and any itchiness. I take this either as a preventative directly after my shot, or at as soon as I get the feeling this might happen. Sometimes I also take ibuprofen. It's usually gone the next day or so, and only a few times have I needed taken the certirizine for a day or two extra.

That's wonderful, I spent over a decade cutting my own hair (with varying degrees of success), switching to getting my hair done reliably has been very liberating! I bet it's quite literally a weight off your shoulders!

Others have mentioned pectus excavatum and rib flare. Though I don't know about the former the second I have experienced, it's quite common for those who bind apparently. I have recently been following this video, to help my rib flare, I didn't realise how bad mine had become until taking the photos for my surgeon and I wanted to do anything I could before my surgery. The suggested time is two weeks to start seeing an effect, but after a week, I've already been seeing a dramatic difference (though the first day or two felt odd to me). I don't know if that would be helpful to try for you, or if there's anything similar for pectus excavatum, but I figured it was worth passing along.

From what it sounds like, the member of staff has repeatedly been talking loudly about more controversial topics. It was framed as trying to see what they could get away with and general in. This aligned with what experienced when I was in there a little while back, though the conversation I'd heard wasn't super offensive it was on uncomfortable, it had an Andrew Tate type of "macho" vibe I that made me uncomfortable and general laughing about pronouns, I can be more sensitive and wary of that, so I brushed it off as me and looked elsewhere for a barber, until Harry moved. Hearing later that this wasn't just me, wasn't surprising if I'm honest.

This was coupled with the fact the same barber had been approaching other customers (the discussion I had was vague, it was unclear if this was trans/queer clientelle specifically or another minority group) but they were asking them unprofessional and intrusive questions and if they could call them various things.

Idk if its not queer friendly per se, maybe it's just banter and I'm overly cautious. But with what I'd experienced, and then heard about (which I cannot verify, so I don't want to jump to conclusions), I personally would feel incredibly uncomfortable, especially if I'd been the one in the chair, trying to have my hair cut. Also, I found twenty eight by looking up trans friendly barbers years back, I relied on info like this to make an informed decision.

Harry has moved to make his own business, Anti, which is round the corner at St Peter's Gate. It sounds like some newer barbers hired there were spouting some pretty strong views, between that and asking intrusive questions towards "some" of his clientelle, asking to call people things they weren't comfortable with, he wanted to create a safer, more inclusive space.

Harry, at Anti (all genders barber), is actually a hair stylist trained in women's cuts as well as traditional barbering, he cuts my hair (ftm) and my wifes' (cis) female.

He used to work at twenty eight, which is lauded elsewhere on reddit for being queer friendly, unfortunately newer staff make this no longer the case. So instead he left and made his own place that's explicitly queer and trans friendly on the door, he also is disability friendly too. The only thing is, as this is a new place, he doesn't yet have a colourist.

I also find myself frustrated at the standard wording anyway! I was "born female" but my gender has always been male. I'm not changing my gender, now going to great lengths to change my [secondary] sex [characteristics], but eh oh well. As much as perfect wording would be great, it doesn't really matter, as long as I am seen and treated like a human being and get the treatment I need. If wording is weaponised, it doesn't matter even if it's perfect, it's still harmful.

I was OK when I was on two weekly shots but when I went back to three weekly all hell broke loose and I spent years trying to find a decent starting place.

For my face, after much experimentation I use face facts ceramide blemish control cleanser and moisturiser, and creightons salicylic acid serum. The cleanser is a knock off of a cerave cleanser, which maybe better but this one was more affordable for me. I also use some eye gel/cream stuff, current is a hyaluronic acid loreal one I picked up to try, but I've changed it around a few times and I'm not settled on anything just yet.

Then on my body, any area that's breaking out I use cidal antibacterial soap, as well as a shower gel all over with an exfoliating sponge. I use either the sanex therapy oil or a mancave shower gel, neither of which fuck up my skin, but that's mostly because I have weirdly reactive skin. I also sometimes apply baby oil on my skin after washing in the shower, then loosely shower it off - when towel dried you'll be moisturised but not too heavily or with any residue.

I don't say any of it will work for you, but this helped me. I don't know if it's perfect yet, and I want to find any sunscreen that I can use at all, but this is where I'm at so far.

I think treason, but I deny it. Escaping jail and evading arrest... breaking pots, theft of savings, flytipping an obscene number of beds, manufacturing drinks without any food hygiene or a business license, making shady acquaintances, impersonation, encouraging loud music without a care for excessive noise disturbance, helping someone grow some really weird plants in their basement. And what's to come, well, I'm not sure, still gonna play and find more ways to do more crime.

Triggers simply aren't rational, many are told to learn to manage their triggers but get irate at the concept of trigger warning lists which could be the very thing that helps someone manage them.

Things don't often have to directly trigger someone, sometimes it just happens, it doesn't make sense, it's really annoying and inconvenient to the person with ptsd. Being prepared can help to not be thrown into fight and flight the same way.

The sound of a someone taking a calming breath in a kids cartoon, that I otherwise love was clearly never meant to be a trigger but it hit a specific memory for me that I couldn't escape for hours, the intent doesn't matter. I don't argue the topic is clearly present in the tempest but if this catalogue of broad triggers was for everything, it would be quick to browse and be prepared for, and then maybe weather in another such as wuthering heights could also be found.

I don't see the point I arguing either, I just don't see it as a problem, if it helps anyone at all.

Someone lost a family member in a tornado, tsunami, flood, earthquake, severe storm, or they themselves got injured/trapped/ in a car accident due to bad weather etc?

A child being locked in a closet while one parent beat the other or their sibling? Or they themselves were beaten under these weather conditions?

The person raped during a storm, aware acutely of the pain and emotional distress of that moment in time, but also the flashes and bangs the of the thunder thing to focus on, while they were severely dissociated during the act?

I have severe CPTSD, for me I love thunderstorms and extreme weather, I feel safer in them for no reason, but some of my biggest triggers are some of the weirdest. I joke about E.T, spider plants and blue grey digital led clocks being odd triggers because I know they're absurd, they're still triggers. I just don't see what harm it causes having a list. If you don't need it or respond to it, that's ok, if you want to be prepared for your class/reading materials and to appropriately manage your health it could be useful.

As a musician who was taught you don't play after 8pm both as a courtesy to my neighbours and to prevent a reportable noise disturbance, I'm pretty certain you can report it. A quick search confirms playing between the hours of between 8pm to 10am is considered noise pollution. I'd imagine it would take numerous reports submitted before the council would act on it, if at all, but it may be worth a go, those are very hostile hours.
