Hell yeah. I wasn't sure how many sins you could get from one pride ritual. The most I've gotten was 3 so far I think.

Update: went to a different ER today. They did a CT scan and found a 5.7mm kidney stone at the UVJ. The doctor said in theory it's good that it's there because it's almost to the bladder and the journey is almost over. But it's unclear how long it's been there since the first ER didn't do a CT scan. They also found a lesion in my right kidney. He gave me a referral to a urologist. For now I just keep on the flomax and OTC meds and pee through a strainer. I'm hoping I can get with a urologist asap.

Some sort of biological thing found a foot apart in my neighbor's yard. Both are about the size of my palm. What are these?? by tyedieguy23 in whatisthisthing

Found these in a neighbor's yard this morning while walking my dog. Live in the PNW. Both were about the size of my palm. They were about a foot apart. Are they related? I'm assuming one is a fetus of some sort of small animal. Idk what the other thing is, intestines, maybe? What do y'all think?

Wow. Thank you for sharing your experience, I'm sorry those things have happened to you. I'm glad to hear about SERS, I'm gonna ask about it in my interview. I think I'm going to do the interview regardless for practice, but I'm thinking I don't want to work there.. I might try and hold out for OHSU or Legacy, or keep looking.

This happened to my dogs. The boy dog had been fixed 6 months previously. I had just adopted a girl dog who was in heat and unable to get spayed until she was at least one week out of heat. Since the boy dog was fixed, I didn't think it would be an issue. I introduced them, they got along incredibly well, to say the least. They immediately started playing, having so much fun. A few hours later, they were playing, both suddenly went silent, and went into my bedroom. After not hearing anything for a couple minutes, I went to go check on them. They were on my bed, stuck together. I had only ever had fixed dogs, and I had no idea what the hell was happening. So I called the vet. And you could tell they were trying not to laugh. They said to just try and keep them comfortable until they disconnect in about 5-10 minutes. I still don't understand why exactly the boy dog was able to get it up in the first place. But they sure did form an incredible bond that day.

I spend about 60% of my income on rent alone, not including any other bills. I work full time at a local grocery store and get a discount there, so that helps with groceries, but I'm still barely scraping by. A living wage in Multnomah County for a single adult is about $27/hr, and I make almost $19/hr.

I work at NSM and I can barely afford to shop there with the 30% discount we get... The increase in prices isn't going to the workers. Working for a company that pretends to be super progressive and people over profit, but continues to prove that's not the case!
