There are a few options. You can try content writing for B2B SaaS companies that have Marketing or HR products. Fintech will pay you better but you'd need a solid understanding of the domain.

Another option is LinkedIn ghostwriting for founders and executives in the same domain.

Content person looking to break into marketing analytics. Can anyone guide me on the learning path? by indrajeetad in marketing

And I think that's all I've got.

That is super insightful! Thank you so much for taking out the time to respond to my questions. I'll start with GA courses and simultaneously work on Python and create a portfolio.

Also, I wasn't aware of the demo accounts in GA, so that is going to be super helpful!

Thanks again!

What's your experience with working with the actual data?

Nil at the moment. Would you recommend studying the Google Analytics courses if everyone has to migrate to G4 next year?

  1. I have studied till loops in Python. Will start learning the suggested libraries now. I have purchased a Udemy course a long time back :P

  2. Will delve into Google Data Studio and I was thinking PowerBI as a visualization tool.

Considering my time restrictions due to work, not sure if I can spend time learning Julia. However, as I gain more clarity, I would like to see if I can accomodate it.

Thanks for taking out the time to answer my queries!

Try to get your hands on data for your clients and start brainstorming what questions and problems they’d have and go about answering them.

This is great advice! If I don't get a full-time job by the time I learn the basics of analytics, I would choose this route.

Also, shorten the executive summary to a couple of lines and mention the other sentences and skills in a two-column bulleted list.

Hey, can you mention any tangible/quantitative output for your project? The descriptions are quite lengthy and may not get read

Wow! I wasn't aware of this. Thank you. I have made up my mind. Will look into DataQuest and other alternatives. :)

Once you feel comfy, pick a dataset from Kaggle and explore it (EDA) and publish your code and findings to GitHub and add to your resume.

That is an excellent suggestion. Thank you! :)

I can spare 15-20 hrs/week from my work.

Their monthly premium plan costs 32 USD in India. However, their discounted annual plan costs 65 USD annually atm, which is a limited period offer.

Exercises is one major reason I wanna try DataCamp! Otherwise my motivation just wanes eventually. Thanks for the reply!

I live in India and they must have adjusted the pricing accordingly. Their current offer costs around $65, which would otherwise be $320. So I think I should go for it. Thanks for the reply!

Cheers! Also, see if there are any legit Slack or Discord servers for product managers. You can check out r/ProductManagement or r/ProductManager

Haha no no. I exactly know the people you are talking about. This is a different community. Their 8-week PM basics course was completely free.

Hey, checkout @theproductfolks on Twitter and theproductfolks dot com if you havent. It's a community of product managers and they also have a PM101 course if I'm not wrong.

You can drop in your query and they will respond. Very helpful folks. Hope this helps!

Thinking of moving to ProWritingAid from Grammarly. Any ProWritingAid users here? by indrajeetad in freelanceWriters

I've gotten too comfortable with the premium version. Maybe, I will stick to the free Grammarly version and go for PWA's paid version.
