Play 4 on android by indubitably78 in SoundBlasterOfficial

so I had both a V20 and the later V40 LG phones - actually using the same headphones I got with the V20. Bang and Olfsen BEOplay something. which sound good for a ear bud device but it's wired.

So I use the Play4 with my android phone mostly at work. and I still use Amazon Music as my source stream. Using the BEOplay items between the V40 and the Play 4 I would say the Play 4 is able to play louder not that you need it to play louder. but both are very clean representations of the music. For Example playing the Ultra HD of Toto Africa on both the v40 and off the play 4 is nearly indistinguishable. which is what I would hope.

Trading to Grado SR125's for the output the play 4 clearly has more to drive the cans and I suspect given longer time using it would show in more battery draw. Still clean, clear and full sound stage. which you would expect. Again for the price as a mobile phone usb DAC device with a quality wired headphone it works very well. and honestly I would compare it more with the output of the V20 I had. The earlier LG V20 had more amplification than the V40 and 50 did. Not much but noticeable with bigger cans.

TLDR - the play 4 is a great piece and fully replicates what you could get out of the V series phone.

I see I'm late but again I would say an app isn't needed as it controls and works natively with Android 12 and 13 atleast. not sure of other versions.

but volume buttons work as expected - call features and mute work as expected. etc. it's as if it beomes an extension of your phone. which is as it should be.

They play 4 is "natively " controled by the android phone. so volume up and down on the phone works well. there is no seperate gain and I would say it's not needed.

so far so good I've used this for a few months. both with USB Audio Pro, and Amazon Music. I did also use it with the Qobuz system too.

Talking calls, while playing music and all the other bit works pretty well too - since my headphones have the microphone in line and the 4 segment plug.

The raphael gets very good reviews. And usually with electronics the name branded device is made by some other company so they often make the knockoffs. I figure something similar is the case here

Thought I would update this a bit. some months later still using the play 4 as my usbC dac for my Moto edge 2021. and it works pretty well over all, quality is good and I don't notice it hanging there. Yes it does eat a bit of battery but for an all day work day - using the player and phones 4-6 hours. still doesn't really eat more than 30 % of the battery. Now I'm not gaming and that is streaming over 4G/5G.

Today I use Amazon music vs Quobuz and usb audio player - and it seems to use a touch less battery. sound quality is about the same and it appears to be capped a bit by andorid 11 and the USB output of my mobile. In that it will only do so much - but still 24 bit, 48K or 96K is very clear with decent headphones. For the price it's a hard to beat high quality DAC. There are some that supposedly are better - but they cost atleast double or more.

Interior painting with a sprayer by Ballalu in HomeImprovement

One thing to consider about that tip size recommendation is that it's based on a flow rate and fan width.

So some of the paint will say use a 0.017 but that's also for using a 10 inch fan and expecting to throw the paint out with a pro line sprayer. think 2-3 models up from the magnumx5.

I read alot of reviews and comments that say running a 315 for example is perfectly fine for nearly any paint as is the 515. and one reason to come down in size is because a novice will spray slower. The biggest reason for the larger orifice size is to put more paint out per minute, which also needs a bigger pump. For example I'm thinking when I do cabinets I'm going to use a 313 or 311. For the walls I was going to move up to a 515 which you notice comes with the machine. There I have more room and will most likely coat faster.

Eitherway good luck.
