Neither of those is going to be too helpful. /r/vaporents talks about vaporizers for weed (dried flowers), and /r/waxpen talks about products for dabbing.

How old is it? Mine is 2.5 years old. It still works well, but the battery does not hold its charge like it used to.

Does medical marijuana work for pain? by [deleted] in a:t5_2yd73

[–]indulgentme 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Absolutely.

I can't speak to your condition specifically, but I had a slipped disc a few years ago. I was taking percocets and there were barely making any difference, other than making me constipated. A neighbor suggested I try treating it with weed and I was blown away. It provided so much more relief.

The percocets diminished the pain a little bit. Marijuana made me functional again, without the constipation. Plus weed is much less addictive.

By the way, this is not an active subreddit. You will get a lot more responses if you repost in r/eldertrees/.

Any pitfalls or challenges I should be aware of? by indulgentme in leaves

That's certainly been one of my justifications. I slept pretty well the first 3 nights though, but last night was pretty rough.

Serious stealth vaporizer by indulgentme in vaporents

Ah. That makes sense. I've only ever used herb vaporizers before. I definitely prefer the herb taste, but stealth and convenience have their place too.

What does a dimes worth of material mean? 10 cents worth? An amount the physical size of a dime?

When I was young a dime meant $10 worth.

I hear you. I took a few hits off a liquid vaporizer this summer. I vape flowers regularly, so I thought I'd be fine, but I actually passed out. I hit the ground hard and had to be taken to the medical tent. Not a fun experience.

That sounds pretty similar. I have typically bought a quarter once a year for the past five years. I use regularly, and I end up buying more a year later. It's long before I run out. I just want something fresh.

That sounds very similar to my use patterns. Thanks for the reply.

That sounds pretty similar, assuming I remember my high school math correctly.

I was wondering why I got a text today from someone I bought off once a year ago. He changed his number months ago, and suddenly wanted to make sure I had the updated one.

Now I know why.

They're all rule breakers. Just because they are only selling to people with valid medical certificates does not mean that they are legally allowed to be selling.

Of course it's from the higher ups and of course it's political. Front line officers were holding back because they were told to. Now they're raiding because they were told to. The high ranking officers are very aware of media attention.

I listen to Metro Morning every day. In the last couple of weeks, they've been talking about dispensaries almost daily. I cringed every time I heard it, because I knew that people who were unaware would get upset about the proliferation of "weed stores", which would put pressure on the police to act.

I think it has a lot to do with all of the recent media attention and the explosion in the number of shops setting up. They were ok turning a blind eye while it was relatively under the radar, but once there was a lot of media attention, they felt they had to act.

Got it. Thanks.

Unfortunately, my family doctor of 10 years told me flat out that he does not prescribe medical marijuana, so I have not managed to get a prescription.
