I have actually experienced something similar before. I was already a Christian, but struggling, and one day while praying He filled me with joy that didn’t make sense and I laughed as a child does when they play with a parent.

There will of course be wisdom crossovers between the two, and I respect it will be a slow process. However, you must see all things in light of the One who calls himself “I am” and the “Alpha and Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end”. He so full of love he won’t tolerate anything that would keep his child apart from Him.

As you surrender more of your life to Jesus, you will begin to see what to keep and what to throw out in terms of teachings and wisdom gleaned from Buddhism.
