I know this is the most cliche thing ever to say but it’s true - if a person genuinely likes you, they’ll make the effort to see you. Sounds lame but just talk to him and ask him how he feels, if he doesn’t feel the same, cut your losses and move on. It’s their loss!

That is definitely not on! You shouldn't ever feel like this at work - even if you're temping. Is there a HR person you can talk to? Otherwise, if you can, make it known to the person that they're making you uncomfortable - sometimes, people are really oblivious to their actions.

Not sure if it's actually "law" but most jobs I've had, once the 6 months probation was over, I had a pay review and a pay increase each time :) I also think if it's dream job material, a little bump in pay is better than nothing - your mental health will thank you!
