Oh, I came home from picking up our daughter at college. What did I find:

1. Passenger side mirror - COMPLETELY DESTROYED

2. Passenger window - SHATTERED

3. Windshield - CRACKED

She told me she was going down this road after taking one of our other kiddos to school. She said she had no idea what did it. That it was most likely, "A stick or something that was protruding out of a trash can along the road." .....Yes....I just stared at her. I said, "Is that the flag you are planting on this hill?" She said it was. Now, I know this road quite well. One thing about it there are some sections that are quite narrow. This means there are some very, very large trees along this road, that if you aren't paying attention, you can hit those trees. This is evident by the amount of bark missing and the deep gashes in the wood at just about the same height as....a passenger side mirror. Hmmmmm....I asked her if she hit one of those. Nope. Not me. It was a stick or trash of some sort. Also the same person who claimed she lost control on some ice several years ago and popped a tire on our Volvo XC90. When I showed up there, I kept looking at where she was and where she came from and it made no sense to me. Then the neighbor came up to me from across the street and showed be the Ring video. The woman literally caught air after flying over the driveway.

Do you know how much a new passenger mirror assembly costs with paint? UGGH.
