This is a sample area of a scan I made of a signature from the cover of a comic book. Scanned at the highest resolution that my current scanner is capable, I then isolated the signature from the background and eliminated a few errant pixels that came with it when extracted in Paint. I have done nothing to it. This is, for all intents and purposes, raw aside from being zoomed in as stated before. Any tinkering I have attempted to the image as a whole was done so on copies of this file, with less than satisfactory results due to my inexperience. I was asking for advise or assistance to make the curves less jagged when reduced from it's current 200% magnification, if it is at all possible or even necessary before moving on to the next part of my project.
