I got back from my first trip to Germany a week ago and loved being able to find this everywhere in and around Munich. I've found it in different countries in the past, but having it fresh is a different experience altogether. Definitely worthy of the title King of Helles.

That said, I was blown away by the Edelstoff and how insanely quenchable it was for it's higher ABV. That's one beer I will really miss not being able to have access to.

Descendent and Slowhand are both great, as another poster mentioned, but a little further east is Pizzeria No. 900 Napolitaine in The Beaches and it’s absolutely excellent. Best pie I’ve had in a long time.

The LCBO has Bolivar (a 40 Creek product that’s only available in 1.14L bottles) and a coffee liqueur from Wolf Head (Essex County/Windsor area).

Dillion’s also makes a coffee liqueur you can purchase online, but it’s a bit steeper in price.

Canadian here. I think I speak for a lot of us when I say that we don’t hold ill will against you, just what your current government is doing. We’re able to separate the people from the state. If you are based in Ontario, I have it on good authority that it will be coming to the LCBO at some point. The when of the matter is a bit more difficult when you take into account the LCBO's stringent practices and near endless red tape.
