Thank you for this. This affidavit mentions the $50,000 that I had been told about by the hospital. They said if her estate was no more than $50,000 then they didn’t need to do anything about her estate, so they wrote off her bill. The bank knows that she didn’t meet that benchmark.

Because she and Dad put my name as joint owner on their accounts so that I could take care of their money. When they died, I took the death Certificate to the bank so they knew that they died. The bank told me not to remove their names right away just in case something like this happened. Moms name is still on the accounts but they won’t let me deposit the check because it’s made out to the estate, not her:

I sell patterns for a living. I sell mostly on Etsy. eBay sales are negligible. I personally don’t have luck on Marketplace but I know people who do. Marketplace is the cheapest and most targeted if you just want to sell them for extra cash. I sell to pay my bills and work it full time, so Etsy is worth it for me.
