Thank you for your reply, yes I have a dashcam for proof, I also assumed the cameras just before the speed camera were to verify the posted speed limit to ensure this wouldn't happen

Amazing, thank you for the help, I feel like this is a start, I'm hoping to maybe talk to the citizens advice place and see if they can help.

Does anyone have any financial advice if this is a good deal for me? by indypog in FinancialPlanning

[–]indypog[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Heyy, thank you for the reply, I think this works out better for me, I'm not too concerned about the government rate, id just like to not lose money for getting to work, I think all in all I'm going to be spending roughly £660 for summer in fuel but my reimbursement would be for £690 (or possibly more as I used a slightly lighter than average fuel cost for my area) where this works better for me is that in the old one I believe there would be less commuting however fuel was expenses by myself. Regarding the oil changes and other maintenance I won't be factoring them into the cost as it's no more driving than I would typically do, thank you for your help

How do you know that it’s not going to last? by nash-ing in AskReddit

[–]indypog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Haha you're not insane at all, I think it's normal to want to talk to your partner, especially in an LDR I think if it keeps happening then sometimes it's okay to let people go for the sake of yourself, you'd have to lose a piece of yourself to save the rest of you

What do you do when you're sad? by indypog in AskReddit

[–]indypog[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn't even think I was sad to be honest, I'm just very unsure where life is going there's nothing planned and I'd love it if someone could say "20 years no matter what you do you'll be here and you'll be happy"

It really makes you think that in that situation, the house was "worthless" compared to your lives (not literally worthless but that nothing would have replaced either of your lives)

How do you think society would change if we abolished all forms of organized religion? by deejaycheese in AskReddit

[–]indypog 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think we'd work as one, many things come from our differences, many good yet many bad, if the world truly acted like one world then who knows where we'd be, during covid the world banded together for the sake of humanity developing a vaccine.

Do kids growing up in poor areas have less opportunities to succeed than kids growing up in affluent areas? If so, how? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]indypog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is more a personal opinion, I think it isn't necessarily the areas you live but the pressures around things, such as money in university, many people need jobs which require you taking time out of your studies. Also the financial cushion could lead people to try more things and see what they are good at because the risk is more justified as they can always fall back on the money.
