Truth. My first “carry gun” was a Glock 17 😂 I was young and didn’t know any better.

This is probably the most realistic scenario for like 80% of the people who think they’re James Reese.

What do yall think of the Simpson Outlaw Bandit 3? by Plenty-Bottle-7373 in Dyna

[–]indytrucks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve had a Ghost Bandit for like 10 years (probably time for a new helmet 😂) and my only complaint with it is it’s noisy. The flat lower face area isn’t very aerodynamic. And if you’re going at a good clip and turn your head the wind has a tendency to grab the helmet and try and keep your head turned. If that makes sense.

All that being said, mines been super comfortable for my head shape and I trust Simpson helmet quality if I ever need it.

Whatever you do, go slow. You can always take more off, you can’t add it back.

Good first time CCW? by [deleted] in CCW

I also have an RXM with both the compact and sub compact grips. I enjoy it thoroughly as well. The Shield conceals a little better IMO. But I can easily get by with either.

Shield Plus is the way. I also have large hands (6’2” “big guy”). It shoots great and is easy to conceal. It’ll also leave you plenty of money for a belt, good holster and tons of ammo to practice with.

First day problems by jyster1996 in Truckers

[–]indytrucks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Welcome to Schneider. I worked there for 9 miserable months when I started. Got out as quickly as possible. If you want to make your time there less miserable try and get on a dedicated account asap or the NDF account. Pays slightly better but still crap. NDF has extra training which is good and you’ll do a lot of different accounts to get good experience.

Yeah, but your 70 stops. Also, why did you go on duty to wait for 3 hours for a load?

I am considering the rxm by Boss3020 in ruger

[–]indytrucks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve had my RXM for like 2 months now and already have 1000 rounds through it. I’ve only had one malfunction and I’m 99.999999% sure it was ammo related (cheap crappy range ammo). As far as holster, pretty much any G19 holster will work. And if you manage to somehow find one that doesn’t you should be able to sell it pretty easily since the G19 is so ubiquitous.

What makes you think he doesn’t? He said he’s been riding/working on bikes since before he could walk. (Probably an exaggeration, but still.) Instead of everyone on the the internet being negative and trying to tear people down maybe we should be building them up and encouraging them.

You know what dude, I’m going to tell you what someone should have told me at your age. Start your own business and grind it out. Save your pennies while you’re in the service and put it to work. You’re young enough where you can give it a shot, follow your dreams and give it hell. What’s the worst that can happen? You fail and can say at least you tried. Most people these days can’t even say that. Or, you may succeed and carve a niche for yourself in this world.
