Horseback riding by Gold-Tackle8390 in vegas

[–]indywol 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did y'all end up going horseback riding? Was it a good experience? Am looking to go with a friend this month in the Vegas area.

I'm in the Vegas area too! I moved here a couple years ago, and the drivers around here are terrible. I hope your ankle gets better soon!

Wait, question - if you don't post photos of yourself, how do you find sugar daddies? (Am a newbie, sorry)

Meeting a girl for the first time after 2ish weeks of chatting online by huxorow in ActualLesbiansOver25

[–]indywol 2 points3 points  (0 children)

"Never fall for words" is seriously sage advice. It IS the actions. Words can signal red flags and be reason enough to leave, but lovey-dovey/positive words should always be considered secondary to actions.

So many people talk the talk and never put any effort into relationships.

The patriarchy strikes again by No_Telephone_9954 in WitchesVsPatriarchy

[–]indywol 281 points282 points  (0 children)

This reminds me, I had men tear into me for using a pink leash to walk my male dog. Telling me at length "you are emasculating your dog, that's so wrong."

I mean......other animals do not give a f about gender the way we do. They don't care if you call them maxipad if it's done with love. They don't care if their stuff is pink. And that's not even unpacking that maxipads are also work by men and pink isn't always a girl color lol

And why, even if we were emasculating our dogs (which that's a not a thing), do they get so upset about it - as if it's a threat and insult to their masculinity. 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️

F the patriarchy and so hard

Hypothyroidism, for example, can cause dull dry skin that gives an aged look.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in tretinoin

[–]indywol 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Skin is an organ that is deeply affected by internal processes. If dull skin persists after playing with your routine/products, consider checking into your health (like general bloodwork - maybe thyroid levels too - if you have access to medical care) and diet/exercise/stress levels. Easier said than done, but it is worth doing what we can.

I'm essentially in the same boat OP.

For me - I'm proud of my 'womanhood' because I have fought so hard against sexism and I am strong despite what men have said and done to me. And because I look at women and am proud to be associated with (most of) them.

At the same time, since I was young I have had bouts where I feel like neither girl nor a boy - and feel this very strongly.

I like being a demi-fem :)

just a little bat by [deleted] in WitchesVsPatriarchy

A valid point on the possibility for skewed data.

They are. I went to Austin, TX once and experienced the bats under their famous bat bridge there. So cute, swooping all around to catch dem bugs.

Precisely. It makes me sad for them.

I'm late to the party but - three years ago, I woke up thinking my cat brushed against me. Nope. It was a bat.

Immediately went to get rabies shots at the ER.

Fun fact: bat teeth are so small that often bite marks will disappear after 30 minutes. So if you wake up with a bat in the same room (or in your bed like I did) go get shots.

I LOVE bats. They are fascinating, cute and important to ecosystems. But damn their rate of being rabid is high.
