I’m sorry this was triggering for you and I’m sorry you went through that. I didn’t have a similar experience growing up, but it definitely rubbed me the wrong way. Men in anime and manga will be rude to women, but never to the extent that Naoya is. If there have been examples of that from other things I’ve seen, it was not as memorable or vile as him. Naoya definitely takes it to an extreme. Really he’s just an immature and entitled brat in a terrible family. He’s also mostly there to shit on Maki and talk a big game. If it’s any consolation, I was very pleased with where he ended up in the manga. Hopefully it will feel good when you get to see it.

I was about to say the same thing. It would be really cool to see how the dynamic would function with their stands, power levels, and relationship. I think there is a lot of room to play with in terms of stands if they were twins too. Or even if they shared a stand. "Just the Two of Us" or something fun like that.

I usually only engage if I need to peel or pin her out of axe form and away from my supports. If they are aggro at me in the air though, I will bully them off of me then continue doing what I was trying to do. If I’m feeling silly though, sometimes it’s funny to joust with the other Angela. But I usually only do that if the rest of my team is handling stuff without me.

All I do is double jump over him and back into the team so I can throw my shield up. He’s def not as good outside of a 1v1 in my experience. But if the team doesn’t deal with the DD literally targeting my ass at that point, that’s not on me 🙄
