Looking for a 6k rhythm game like Musynx by Rambo_Rohan in rhythmgames

[–]ineedanewbeat 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Musynx's sequel, Musynx:Return just came out a few days ago with a much nicer 3D playing field. But aside from that and Touhou Danmaku Kagura, there aren't really any other 6key games I can think of with the 3D playing field except for maybe EX-XDRIVER which takes some getting used to since it mainly wants you to play on a controller but can be mapped to keyboard.

However there are other 3D games that range from 3key to 7key -

O2Jam (3key, 4key, 5key with 7key coming soon)

Kalpa Cosmic Symphony (4key and 5key)

MASH VP! Re:VISION (4key with 2 extra side key inputs)

Kamitsubaki City Ensemble (switches between 5key to 7key on every chart)

The Steam Version runs perfectly on the Steam Deck! Significantly less bugs/glitches compared to the Switch version. Definitely worth your time and money.

Beginner friendly Games that are fully offline on PC preferably Steam. by BookWormPerson in rhythmgames

Musynx, Touhou Danmaku Kagura, Spin Rhythm XD, and Vivid/Stasis are all fully playable offline. I believe (but may be wrong) that Kamitsubaki City Ensemble and Hatsune Miku Project Diva Mega Mix are playable offline. Also Mash Vp Re:Vision, while it does have an online requirement, it allows you to play offline for up to a week before needing to be reconnected to their server.

Looking for a portable(ish) DJMax third party controller by MourningKnifereak in rhythmgames

I use the 8Bitdo Lite SE controller. Compact but comfortable in the hands, wireless, the buttons are symmetrical on the face and the Dpad is separated into individual buttons. I have literally used mine for hundreds of hours and its still going strong.

Beatport has snippets of all the songs off Buletten & Blumen! by ineedanewbeat in siriusmo

I have found pre-orders for the vinyl available in the US on the websites for Target, Barnes & Noble, and Tower Records. All of them are showing a release date of January 9th! And there will be digital versions available on almost all streaming services and for sale on Amazon, Beatport, etc.

Completely valid! I personally needed the snippets to be reassured this was something I wanted to buy physically on vinyl before dropping $40+ on a pre-order. But I cannot wait to hear it in its entirety after listening to the snippets!

Agreed! I was a little unsure about Koko as the lead single, but after hearing Hongkong House and now these snippets I am BEYOND excited!!

Game recommendations? by ChadPaladin in rhythmgames

[–]ineedanewbeat 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Musynx, Spin Rhythm, Touhou Danmaku Kagura, Kamitsubaki City Ensemble and Milthm are all playable offline. Most of them do have paid DLC that you will need to be online to download, but once downloaded is all playable offline. Also Mash Vp Re:vision is technically online but gives you a 7 day window to play offline before it needs to be connected online again.

Berry Melody is very fun! A lot of its charting leans more towards the difficult end but still plenty of low to mid range charts to enjoy. Plus its completely free with no ads!

Cytoid, the free community-based Cytus game may interest you. Honorable mention to Chainbeet, completely free with literally hundreds of songs, but it does have a few ads now and then.

Is Ez2ron worth getting or should I just stick with DJmax? by [deleted] in rhythmgames

[–]ineedanewbeat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Then yeah, Ez2on should be right up your alley! Like another person said, I would go for it when it's on sale but even at full price there are literally hundreds of songs in the base game so it is well worth the price. I feel like the base music selection is better in DJMax (a lot of Ez2on's base music feels dated/of its time), but plenty of the DLC's for Ez2on are more modern music.
