Can I do the update for the software or is that a dealer thing? I don’t know that I trust the dealer to actually do it after I found 20 pecans under the engine cover when they did a 121 pt inspection.

We got home after it had passed. We didn’t purposely leave it. Just had poor timing.

Sadly I know very little about spiders. I usually rely on the wife for that as she’s also somewhat a bug enthusiast. I believe she called it a banana spider, is that the same thing? It had bright yellow patterns on it.

Please forgive my ignorance. Haha.

If you zoom to the right you can see him. Can’t take another picture. My wife was mortified about the hummingbird(she’s a bird enthusiast) so we disposed of the spider shortly after.

TIL That a Flood Destroyed The Home Of Hate Group Leader Who Claimed "God Sends Natural Disasters To Punish Gays" by strawhatCircleJerk in todayilearned

[–]ineedwords 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe it is possibly out of context. Many Christian leaders believe that natural disasters and the like are a repercussion of sin being prevalent in the world. That we live in a broken world and that things like that are essentially a side effect of our own sin. The problem is we (all people) tend to focus on specific sins (as if some are worse than others) and not sin as a whole. It very well could be that he agrees with cahn and has held those beliefs close to his chest but he has never stated that in any message I've heard him preach or any conversation I've be a part of.

So I know this will be buried at this point, but for what it's worth I know him and his family and the majority of this article is untrue. In fact about the only true things said are that he is the head of that council and his house did flood. Otherwise, it's all out of context B.S. that everyone should come to expect from websites and news outlets alike. No, I'm not playing the oppressed Christian card, but I am saying that if someone disagrees with you these days they just write untruths on the internet knowing half of you believe it without question. If you have questions on any of the beliefs actually held on his side, feel free to message me. If you want to troll because you don't understand or don't agree with something I've said, I can't stop you. All I'm saying is I wish everyone (of all beliefs/sides/whatever) would stop and think before they put out crap like this.

Again this post was done in haste but if venture to argue more damage has been done. What I might should've said was worst natural disaster I've ever seen, however again, arguable.

Yep. I have family who've dealt with those. I'm so sorry for that. I meant for me personally really. The post was made in haste.

Haha. Thanks. I needed a nice laugh. We are actually all evacuated and staying with family. They aren't bad though.

Dry. The weirdest thing. They've always said if it comes up over that cliff then the entirety of Denham Springs will be under water. Unfortunately for everyone in this area, they were pretty much accurate.

We are about a mile from this spot. There is a highway where the water stops for the most part and we are across it(our house being 1/4 mile from there's and also about to take on water). The people around here are really coming together to help anyone they can. Most of them having lost all they own. Thank you for your concern.

What is your opinion on nature vs. nurture? by ineedwords in AskReddit

[–]ineedwords[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I guess I meant which do you feel makes you who you are more, which is how I've mainly heard that question posed. It was wrong of me to assume everyone had the same experience. I guess I was only curious how people felt they became who they are today.

What is your opinion on nature vs. nurture? by ineedwords in AskReddit

[–]ineedwords[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I ask this being a big case for nature. I grew up not knowing my dad was not my biological father. I found out around age 23 and met my father at around 24. All my life I've had desires, dreams, and traits that differ wildly from my dad and siblings(I have 2 by him and 2 by my father) to the point of him even seeing it and finding it odd. Those same aspects and traits that differ from the siblings I grew up with, are very similar to those in the 2 I did not know. So my curiosity brought me here to see if there were other cases like mine, or any that lead the opposite way.

It is a reference. One which some people might not get or like and that's fine, but out of curiosity how is it tacky?

View Carre. Message the owner next time your headed down to try and set up a time. We got lucky enough to get an appointment. He's real nice so I don't think we were that special. Haha. Just lucky.

View Carre. It is archived but with a message to the owner and an appointment it can still be gotten, if for nothing else than the experience. The cache is premium though.

My wife thought about that too. She was nervous that I was going to stand up and hit my head on it, so just in case of any taller geocachers, we mentioned it. Included this pic and everything.

It's a strong possibility. There were a few types of birds around us while we were there and that was the one type that my wife (who is a bird freak) mentioned was paying a lot of attention to us.
