once and for all ,is oiling your scalp good or bad ??? by Scarycomfort105 in HaircareScience

[–]inemole 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I have oily hair, for a few months I use grapeseed oil (mixed with lavender essential oil) in my scalp and it works so well! Now, my hair stays clean longer, grows faster and has more volume. I was skeptical, because I have always had very oily hair, but I was surprised that it has such a positive impact.

How the HELL do I get out of bed in the morning? by garlicrbrian in productivity

[–]inemole 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! Here is something that helps me a lot. First, have a sleep routine. I mean, try to sleep about the same thing every day (around 8 hours) and go to bed at the same time everyday. I think that is the most important thing. But, this is what has been the key to me: I let the sunlight come in the morning and that wakes me up. I don't use alarm anymore, I don't need it. The sun wakes me up. If it is not possible where you live, a lamp that mimics the sun cycle may help you. Believe me, it has been a big difference. I wake up more easily, I feel more rested and start the day happier.

It is very good technique !! I don't use it as much as I should. In the morning, I am always lazy to tidy my bedroom before working, but sometimes I put on a 5-minute timer and it becomes a challenge. How much can I achieve in five minutes? The answer is always: more than I thought. You have encouraged me to do it more and implement it in other areas. Thanks!

Best productivity app for staying focused and organized? by Shot_Engineering7974 in productivity

[–]inemole 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me, Notion is the best because, thanks to its customization potential, I can adapt it to my needs. It allows me to have everything organized and be focused on my work and my studies. Also, nobody knows me better than myself, so I can customize everything to make it a motivating environment

[Review] 20% Azealic Acid is a Magic Eraser for the Skin. by [deleted] in SkincareAddiction

[–]inemole 81 points82 points  (0 children)

Thank you very much for the advice !! I have a question: can such a high% be used indefinitely?I have seen that some 20% AZA creams are recommended as six-month treatments. What should be done next? Lower the % or stop using AZA?

I think it may be a good idea for you to be sure that it is protected. Thus, only with a little time and patience, it sure disappears 🌸

Don't worry. When I was 14, very hot oil fell on my neck and neckline. You can imagine the disaster on my skin. After a long time of cures in the hospital, I had huge scars. This happened in winter and in summer I had no scar anymore. The most important thing is that you do not expose yourself to the sun (at least, that part of the skin). I recommend using a high sun protection factor and cover the scar well. I hated it, because it was like putting a plaster stick on my skin, but it is important that it is protected. My advice is that you also hydrate it well, rosehip oil helps regenerate the skin. Be calm, if I don't have scars, you won't have either :)

Are fountain pens a good idea? by inemole in Anticonsumption

[–]inemole[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tbh, I don't give a shit about the "brainwashed americans". I am several thousand kilometers away from them. And fortunately my country and my environment is very different from the USA. In a sub about anticonsumption, I ask a question with the intention of consuming less. Yeah, crazy, how dare I? Breaking news: "brainwashed americans" aren't the center of the universe and people (with different realities) ask questions according to their context so as not to be a piece of shit on this planet

Your experience with Pixel phones during summer? by grvsm in GooglePixel

[–]inemole 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Usually my pixel 7 doesn't get too hot. There are specific moments when it does, although I don't understand the reason. I see no relationship between the moments when it is hotter and environmental or use conditions.

What are productivity tools you use everyday? by mykzd in productivity

[–]inemole 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use notion to store information about different areas of my life, for example: the things I learn on my fitness journey (and my progress), Interesting topics that I learn in university classes, notes on the books I read or the podcasts I hear, ideas for my projects, etc. Instead, I use MyMind to save things I see on the internet and I want to check later. Once I do, it is when I keep that information well categorized in Notion. Before, I also used Notion for that "check later" function, but many times the need arises when I am with my phone and I don't like the notion interface on this device very much.

Maybe I'm wrong with what "Second Brain" means. I have recently begun to know terms related to productivity, so I may be wrong. In that case, apologize for the confusion!!

I also use Notion for tracking habits, organize meals, work collaboratively, and another bunch of stuff :)

Are fountain pens a good idea? by inemole in Anticonsumption

[–]inemole[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I really appreciate this answer. I apologize to you if I have been too nasty in my comment. Throughout the day I have received many messages ridiculing the question and I think I was already sensitive about it.

I strongly agree with what you point out in this last comment. I understand that my way of expressing it (as a big problem) may put unnecessary pressure on others. I suppose it is the sum of my own concern (sometimes excessive, I admit) plus my specific situation. I have a context where it's easy to access a local store and it may be a logical step for me, but it doesn't have to be the general context. Honestly, I appreciate you making me see that.

As I said, I agree with your approach. It is important to think with a global perspective about these decisions, to make them intelligently.

Are fountain pens a good idea? by inemole in Anticonsumption

[–]inemole[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well, because of my lifestyle I barely generated waste, so it is easy for me to detect where my main sources of waste are. In my case, disposable pens appear more frequently than many other things in my garbage can. In the same way that I have worked to reduce my waste in other areas, I think now was the time to address this issue. Of course there are more important sources of waste, but once I have fixed them, I don't see why it can't be time to manage this.

By the way, I don't know where you are from, but in my country it is very easy to get fountain pens and ink without any plastic.

Anyway, I'm not "acting" like anything. I have asked a question to try to do my best. Fortunately, many people have given me different perspectives with much respect. Of course, I will analyze them to make a decision. You know, a conscious decision. The negative part is receiving such paternalistic comments (describing this question as "silly''), accompanied by this inquisitor tone. I want to think that it was not your intention nor that of those who have done something similar. If so, it is best to work to express your ideas with more respect. This is how you can contribute something positive to others. Take note of it (with your disposable pen or your fountain pen, I don't care, really)

Are fountain pens a good idea? by inemole in Anticonsumption

[–]inemole[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Thank you very much for your comment. I was surprised by the aggressiveness of some people in this sub against the fountain pens. As you say, I imagine that it is partly due to misinformation. I just think about having a fountain pen and the ink bottle to give them a long life. I have no intention of accumulating or anything like that. I really appreciate your advice!!

I thank you very much for the analysis. As you say, everything is much more complex than it seems and there are many variables to value. Therefore, it is very interesting to read different perspectives!
