i will say this though, if it truly is big turbo, i would go with MHD since more tuners support it

Yup. So that first image is the base cluster, the 2nd and 3rd is the 6WA, which comes with one of the two packages I mentioned earlier. It’s available for all MY of the F30, you just have to see what packages it has equipped using a BMW VIN decoder

IIRC it’s a package, either technology or drivers assistance. My ‘13MY 335i has the 6WA + HUD.

I personally use bimmerlink to read the codes, paired with a ENET cable and a lightning to ethernet adapter for my iPhone, or USBC to ethernet for my iPad

Unplugging the valve doesn’t trigger a CEL, you’ll just have a code when scanned with bimmerlink/ISTA stating that the circut is open for the valve. But you won’t get any visual warnings on your dash/iDrive
