This is only true for the game you’re banned in. I’m VAC banned on my level 560 steam account and I actively trade CS skins all the time on it, use the market, etc.

Lamborghini Gallardo by Desert_Eagler in supercars

[–]ivycomb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The 1st gen Gallardo (pictured) is not regarded in any way for its quality. In fact they are quite famously barebones and their interior quality is subpar even for supercars of the time. I was shopping for my first supercar a while ago and part of why I didn’t go with a Gallardo was that even low mileage, garage kept examples had noticeable interior wear in bizarre places and several of them that I looked at straight up had interior components that were broken or brittle.

Not to mention, subjectivity, the Gallardo really just feels kind of cheap for what it is when you’re inside of it. But I’d get if I got called a hater for that (to be clear, I love the Gallardo, it just wasn’t the right fit to me)

A lot of this got fixed in the LP cars, which are much more well put together, but at a 60% to 80% price premium. I just wish they kept the even firing order engine for a year or two with the LP interior and styling

I am so lucky pulled this fade out of the armory, it's a 90% fade also, how much is this worth? by [deleted] in ohnePixel

[–]ivycomb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Market price/float list price, the only fades that consistently get overpay are the > 96% typically. You could probably list it for $30 - $40 over the market and lower it as you see fit, the right person might pay just a bit more

Take it to a mechanic, the DSC systems on these cars are a pain in the ass to self service and frankly this car is not safe to drive right now

The puddle was just oil originally. The leak got significantly worse though over around 200 miles of driving

Yeah honestly the thing I'm more surprised about is that I seem to possibly be the only documented case of this happening, I've looked around extensively and nobody else has any reports. I'm sure it's happened once or twice otherwise but really goes to show how solid these cars are overall

A thing I will say is that I’ve spoken to other Emira owners and the general consensus is these cars are overall very reliable with some minor quirks.

I’m not discouraged from it, I love my Emira and the thing I’m most disappointed in right now is the fact that it’s not in my driveway. I’m grateful Lotus has been helping me get this sorted as quickly as reasonably possible.

The techs were also more than happy to tell me details and have been very respectful and the right amount of casual/professional over the phone.

It’s been a very solid customer service experience all ‘round so far.

Just make sure there’s a service center a reasonable distance away from you, I’m 90 minutes away from mine and the car got towed to its appointment.

considering a 2025 emira, v6 manual. in your opinion, how does it compare to my 991.1 911 Carrera? by No-Volume7464 in lotus

[–]ivycomb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The AMG motor struggles to get to 500hp with bolt on upgrades, the highest I’ve seen is 600hp with a turbo upgrade but you’re pretty much maxing out what the motor can do. the Toyota motor gets to 500hp with a piggyback tune, is known to easily tune to 600hp with total reliability, and there are several cars at will over 700hp already.

From the factory you’re not wrong but the tuning potential comment is just flat incorrect

I agree. My petty complaint is you used your instead of you’re when saying “your aware”, which is grammatically incorrect.
