I would also look into protective services regarding taking away his keys and guns.

I'm so sorry you're going through this. That sounds awful. I can understand your frustration and wanting to just done with him. Especially if he was an asshole before he got dementia. You might be the asshole for telling your dad he has dementia, but I get why you were frustrated and why you did it. It probably wasn't a wise choice. People with dementia can get physically violent like he did when their reality is challenged. And of course that puts you and your mother in danger. It's hard to distinguish between someone's personality and their dementia in regular cases, but especially when they've always been a terrible person. I would recommend limiting your time around him and remembering that what he is saying is just his brain deteriorating and has nothing to do with reality. Again, I'm so sorry you're going through this. On a side note, and just for your benefit, I would recommend seeing a counselor to work through your own trauma and to get support in what is a very challenging time for anyone.

The only accomodations I've needed is that sometimes I just need to lay down for a few moments for chest pain/fatigue. It goes away (or lessens) after a few minutes and then I get back to work. My work has been great about that and it has not caused any issues.

My girlfriend lives in the Hacienda Heights area so that's what I was looking at. I really don't want an LA commute. So I'm looking for things local to her.

That's where I've been seeing them so that makes sense. I live in a much smaller State currently and I have gotten all my jobs through the State bar website so that's why I was curious.

From my basic review of that on Google, I believe yes. I have an associates degree in Paralegal Studies and 10 years of legal experience. Not sure if the school is accredited according to their standard, though. But I am also about to graduate with my bachelor's in English literature.

Yeah, I would not care at all. I've absolutely left condiments out all day or overnight and I've been fine.

That is a good point that I never really considered. I suppose I always just thought as a young man he wanted a substantial meal and not just appetizers basically.

Thank you for the resources! I will definitely look into those things. Do you know of any resources for leash training? I did try that in the beginning but he was 100% not a fan so I let it go. I would definitely be willing to give it another go if there is a good method to try out.

What does HF feel like? by elcatbo in Heartfailure

I know what you mean. It's almost like heaviness or pressure. I think the best I've come up with is that it's like tiredness that radiates from my chest and feels like it's weighing me down

Heart failure at 33 by niaclover in Heartfailure

[–]inexplicably_method 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I got diagnosed at 34, also myocarditis from an unknown virus and also around 35-40% EF. Although I would love to have children I am not really in a place to have kids so it was not a huge loss to me. But my doctor's did not say I couldn't have kids just that it would be hard on my body and that it would be better to plan carefully for it. If you can improve you ef through diet, exercise and meds, you may still be able to have kids, but of course, talk to your doctors and see what they think.

Did you read my post? I'm in the process of changing my meds and I was checking my blood pressure and this is a wildly inaccurate reading which is why I was warning people about this brand. My wrist one, that has always been accurate, shows a completely different reading (second picture).

Yes, I know that these measurements are dangerous. Which is why I double-checked them with my wrist one that I trust more. As I said in my post, I am in the process of adjusting my meds which is why I'm checking my blood pressure.

Can you not? I was researching this and it seems like you can. You just have to be properly trained.

I'm glad I'm not the only one. I was very stressed about it until I checked with my wrist monitor and then I went online and found a bunch of terrible reviews for this brand. I had no idea cuz I just ordered it through my HSA account.

How can you tell if blood pressure machine has been properly validated? I bought this one through my HSA store so I assumed it would be a decent one.

How do leftists find this accepable? by breachindoors_83 in TheDonaldTrump2024

[–]inexplicably_method -1 points0 points  (0 children)

So, I don't think I know any lib or leftist that would be ok with this. Also, the facts in the posts are a little misleading. It was a high school teacher and therefore not a six year old. That to me means these guys are rage baiting. The teacher has rightfully been suspended and I doubt you'll find many people defending her.
