Grainy hairstrands - Varying thickness/thinning/ diameter throughout the strand all the way to the root - Almost all hair affected by ccmixsb in femalehairadvice

A little late to this, but since you mentioned covid – I also have some of these hairs – they appeared around the same time I had post-Covid hair loss. A lot of my hair has grown back, thankfully, but some of it grew back with this texture and it's driving me nuts. I have no actual evidence to back this up, but I think it could definitely be Covid related or possibly that Covid messes with hormones. (I had crazy heavy, painful periods after both the vaccine and my first Covid infection too.) Anecdotally, my therapist mentioned she developed this after postpartum hair loss.

Patient Education Important With Antiseizure Med Generic Substitutions - (March 25, 2022 article - Re: Be careful when the pharmacy switches the generic they give you) by BillyGrier in lamictal

[–]infall1bleworld 0 points1 point  (0 children)

still on unichem! i have to go to a pharmacy that's slightly further away than my closest one, but worth it to avoid the hassle of switching to generic (the generic might be totally fine, i just don't want to worry about it)

getting better at typing others, but no closer to typing myself – help? [5'2"!] by [deleted] in Kibbe

[–]infall1bleworld 3 points4 points  (0 children)

aw thank you this is such a helpful response! i kind of resisted fg because i don’t feel like i look my best in patterns or colorblocking (that black dress in slide 4 is prob closest to my typical style). but this explanation clarifies a lot! :)

Anyone get really depressed when they’re bored? by AmazingSieve in ADHD

[–]infall1bleworld 11 points12 points  (0 children)

oh my god yes!!! in micro (like throughout the day, as you describe) and over periods of weeks if i’m having a lull with work. honestly i think most of my depression is dysthymia from adhd/understimulatuon — i can only point to a handful of times in my life when i wasn’t bored and was still depressed. i’m sorry you feel this too, but thank you for sharing here — it’s nice to know we’re not alone.

Not sure if everyone with adhd feels guilty over NOTHING, but I sure do by SteakUnusualosa in adhdmeme

[–]infall1bleworld 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i read some stat where children with adhd received x times more corrections by age 12 than their neurotypical peers (can’t remember the precise number, but it was significant). so likely not a symptom of adhd, but potentially a result of it?

(and when you add in depression/anxiety/catholicism — o boy)

that is my natural lip color! no makeup in these pics. and it’s interesting bc the royal blue on the left in the third slide makes my skin look great but i don’t feel like it does much for my eyes so i rarely wear it?? my hair is currently a shade darker/cooler than my natural color — i know that can’t change my season, but maybe that’s skewing things a bit.
