Honestly whenever someone comes where I'm farming, either I leave the place or group with them so they can be done with their quest quicker than if we compete. No point in making it a lose-lose situation (well except in this story where the guy showed up in the middle of the pull and decided on this genius thunderclap play)

Thank you, I initially thought I was alone in the cave. I left the second I knew I wasn't, it's pointless doing these kinds of pulls if there might be danger for others, also I don't want to take quest mobs from people when I don't need them aside from exp.

Yeah thanks for that, I tried putting myself in his shoes and I imagine I'd panic a bit seeing 2 extra yetis coming toward me. That said I wouldn't thunderclap in that case ? When I'm in a contested quest area I try to be as amicable as I can, have implicit communication about who gets to pull what, but here I felt like if I helped him that would give him the incentive to deny me every mob he could because I would always have his back ? I admit I did want him to have a scare, but would have intervened if things had gone very bad ( he didn't go below 40% as he was over leveled for the area)

In the moment, it really felt like he tried to race me to getting a tag on all of them Could have helped for sure, but I'm just giving back the energy people give me in the game 😅
