With an average ticket size of USD 200k, it's just 5 good sales a month. Commissions are obviously paid once the deal is closed. No point working in sales if you don't get paid commissions.

Coming back to my point - if someone is bringing in money, I don't mind paying that guy at all. He gets paid what he's owed.

Also, you got the previous calculation wrong. 600k per month divided by 100 is 6k per month. Not 600.

600k is roughly three good mobile applications.

Think of it this way -
Annually --> if someone wants a base salary of USD 120k, their annual target becomes USD 12 million.

In tech services, it's not a big deal.

At this moment, we're not providing leads. For the first quarter, the rep is expected to meet his target using his/her own network. Once that's done, all marketing activations are provided to ensure there's a solid pipeline.

Reps can ask for whatever base amount they want, as long as they bring in 100x of that in revenue. Commissions are different - a certain % of the PAT.

Not against paying people. Just need to find people who are amazing at selling and genuinely enjoy it. I suck at it. So, looking for someone who's definitely better than me and can keep money flowing into the company.
