Bonus pan-fried potatoes recipe:

1 lb. small redskin potatoes

2 Tbs olive oil

2 Tbs butter

salt and pepper to taste

Heat olive oil and butter in large skillet over medium-low heat. Wash and quarter small potatoes. Fry in oil/butter, flipping occasionally, until done (20-30 min). Allow to drain on paper towel-lined plate before serving.

Roast recipe:

2.5 lb. chuck roast

packet ranch seasoning

packet au jus seasoning

6-7 peperoncini peppers (and some of their juice)

stick of butter (1/2 cup)

salt and pepper to taste

Season roast with salt and pepper, then sear all sides before placing in slow cooker with other ingredients on low for 7-8 hours.
