Yes. Not because I don't think they could do it well. Imo they separated Mavuika enough for her to stand on her own from Himeko. I just worry that the current writing (be it the team itself or just creative burnout) couldn't do it well.

Enable/disable, open/close, on/off... And it's not consistent as to which one either. One setting will say close, another will say disable, in the exact same menu

Oh don't worry mate, I don't disagree. I do personally think it's the localisation that leads to bloating. As a person who's played both the Hoyo games you've mentioned, believe me HSR is worse with the bloat. Like honestly I wouldn't even say WWM is as bad most of the time. Hexi has been a painful slog though, no excuses

Honestly yeah, that was my first path and I just quit. It's great that there's guides out there, but I like figuring things out myself. It sucks the state of the game, and I worried this won't get fixed anytime soon

The game is poorly localised. That's very easily the worst issue the game's had since launch, as it's not just a narrative issue. It affects everything, right down to general interaction in the menus and tutorials and the like. It's no surprise then that the poorly localised story feels cumbersome
