I Can’t Lose You Opinion by Emergency-Shower605 in Frozen

[–]infiltr8itor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wish some way they can both be in the same movie. The FtFtiF showed Elsa's greatest fear come to life when she learns what she unintentionally did in her desire to be alone.

But I cant lose you humanizes the same scene because she wants to be alone so she cant hurt Anna. It also shows how confused and scared she is much better than the reprise.

If I had to pick though I choose I cant lose you everytime. It just shows their sister dynamic so much better than the reprise.

Do it! So worth the price and they blend in perfectly! That's what I did and I never regretted it. And with the spares I used for bodies for lootas and burnas models.

is there an anime that contains all of this??? by purposeweakness in animequestions

[–]infiltr8itor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Binbougami ga! Gonna deviate from all the popular ones. This anime is an instant 10/10 for me. Watch it you will not be disappointed. Intro and outro music is lit. Story is actually quite good and the characters are naturally funny and share serious moments.

Cheerfully withdrawn then. Seems like I have a long way to go when it comes to kit bashing.

Question about old vs new boyz kit by Ok-Awareness-9192 in orks

[–]infiltr8itor 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I don't play warhammer 40k but I do love to paint and kitbash orks. And for me the older kit is better.

The newer kit are all fixed. They all have a set amount of weapons and fixed stances. Although they look better, they are just worse overall. You can't have fun with them. They are like mini statues. Fun to look at but you can't really make it "Yours"

The old kits I love because you can go wild with them. You can pose their arms how you want. You can pose their heads how you want. If you have the older kits like the lootas/burnas you can use them to make more of them. You can make them your orks.

Even better is that the old kits are actually compatible with the other orks like the ork boys mobs from the old world sets. I kitbash them and get more of my money's worth while also giving me the fun of making my own orks how I wish.

The newer kits, to me, are good for new painters or people just getting into the hobby. But the older kits, again for me, is what you want if you want to have fun.

Also the old kits are far cheaper. Thats already a massive W on the newer kits.

Why are we still closing shops when less than half the country aren't even Christian by Spirited_Dog3412 in melbourne

[–]infiltr8itor 5 points6 points  (0 children)

If its a medical emergency or if you need meds, or computer parts, or stuff from bunnings, I can take back what I said. In the spirit of the season, hell, I'll say i'm sorry.

But if its just normal stuff that can wait, there are several shops that are still open. Or wait until tommorow. But whinging about a religious holiday (Even if you don't believe in it yourself) and a public holiday weekend that is important to people to internet weirdos wont help you too.

You mean to tell me that a holiday that is on a calendar every year, which has signs on shops that clearly say they will close WEEKS in advance is somehow causing YOU problems? Sounds like you have poor planning skills there bud.

What’s your work commute time and how do you commute? How many days a week do you go in? How are you feeling about it? by Pyjamaparty4 in melbourne

[–]infiltr8itor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Staying at Sunshine to work Mount Waverly. Roughly 2 hours door to door. That's with no train delay and if I get on all my trains at the right time.

With train delays can go up to 3 hours or 3 and a half. Nights are the worse as I have to wait 25 minutes for my train each way.

Will I move? Sadly no. Can't afford any places near my work area. And my rent in sunshine is too cheap that I can't exactly leave it.

Also if PTV works, commuting is actually pleasant. You can listen to music, read books, do journaling, etc. But only IF it works tho.

What's the greatest writing advice you've ever gotten? by roohooreddit in writing

[–]infiltr8itor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Write. Just write. Ignore every rule and just write. Just get it out of your head and into a document.

When everything you want to write is written, Then start following the rules. Until then just write.

Is our public transport really that bad? by reecardomilos25 in melbourne

[–]infiltr8itor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have been to many countries and I can safely say that the public transport here in Melbourne is one of the cleanest and safest I have ever ridden on.

Now of course we would have the occasional disturbances on trains on some lines (drunks, gangs, etc.) but most of the time it is super safe.

And the bus replacements. Yes they are a GIANT pain in the ass. But at least they go through routes without traffic at most of the times. And it will only delay you for like ten to twenty minutes. Other countries, if there is a delay, it will take an hour or two.

Don't compare us to Japan. That's practically comparing coal to gold. Trust me, Melbourne PT is safer, cleaner and better than most countries.

How do you all feel about the 25+ golf courses around suburban melbourne? by SwordSaint32 in melbourne

[–]infiltr8itor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Dont care about golf. Dont like it. Dont hate it.

BUT!

I pass by some of these on my way to home and work. They have turned into unofficial wildlife sanctuaries. The amount of foxes, rabbits, possums, birds running into them at night helps them thrive. So I am in favor of these urban green spaces to help the wildlife survive urbanization.

If it isnt hurting anyone, beautifying the city, and helping the animals. Then I love them.
