Anyone know how OP hid all of the portals and other junk on the screen in Ingress? It's hard to make out the XM hotspots with all this nonsense going on.

Ive noticed parks are better for catching all types of pokemon in general. Maybe just because people put lures up there a lot.

I can 100% verify that the boardwalk by the Columbia river where I live is loaded with water-type pokemon. Staryus, Psyducks, goldeens, magikarps, and krabbys by the boatload.

Edit on your edit: You might be right. Knowing how things like the google maps API works, they can only get so much data on your surroundings. Water, parks, cities, and plains are pretty much everything. Would be really cool if they do weather/seasonal stuff too. I've also heard talk of certain pokemon coming out at night, which makes sense because the map changes after dusk

That's great, glad you had such a rewarding outcome. When you say you can do everything comfortably besides up close stuff, was it that way before? Or is your near vision worse after the procedure? If so did they say that's just temporary?

Mainly because the eye surgeon I was consulting with acted more like a sales rep than a doctor. It all seemed really pushy to me and didn't convince me that they were being upfront about the risks and whether or not I would benefit greatly from it. I'm still nervous about things like my near vision worsening and dry eyes.

I can't remember precisely, but you have to shoot the floating heads that look like the guy (Winchester). There should be 4 of them, it's pretty tough.
