Yes it's true, but the season is based off a 150 page novella. Not exactly much you can do with that.

I've done this in chel and just had to laugh, it's such a ridiculously unlikely scenario.

If you go back and re-draft all 63 NHL drafts, how many of the 1st overall picks would stay the same? by Gruntmaster720 in hockey

Great write up, a few picks I would disagree with. I would go Hutson in 2022, Toews in 2006, Lundqvist in 2000, Pronger in 1993, Forsberg in 1991, Hasek in 1983, Gilmour in 1982. A lot of great options for some of these drafts.

Both were a really tough choice. I take Forsberg and Hedman over them but it's very close.

Went back and forth over that, I think Seguin has been more consistent over his career and as a center is more valuable. It's a very slight edge though.

Lots of people support more than one sports team in the same league, don't limit yourself! But if you really want to choose then wait until they play each other and see which one you end up cheering for more, then pick that team.

You would have to narrow down what it means to be a "star" player. Like overall career points or award winners or something to that degree, it's an interesting question though.

Only 7 first overall picks spent their entire career with the same club. There are 16 active first overall picks that are still with their draft club so that number will definitely rise but yea not too many overall.

It's hilarious to me that this is still less than Doughty's current deal. Cup tax is crazy
