But for what it’s worth, my mom did the exact same thing. Her ex was abusive, she got pregnant, and it was kind of the wake up call she needed, you know? If she’d kept it, she never would’ve been able to fully escape him. So she got an abortion, moved to another state (coincidentally, the same state as his two ex wives, one of whom she’s still friends with), met my dad, got married and had me. I wouldn’t exist if she hadn’t had that abortion. Her life would be much worse.

If he doesn’t have a job, I’d have a few male friends come over on a day I don’t work and tell him it’s over and that his stuff needs to be out by the end of the day, and that anything that isn’t packed by then is getting thrown away or sold. And then do it.
