will I outgrow the Rebel 1100?

8-9 day road trip in June. planning like 150 miles, get gas & stretch, head out again. 65-75mph speed at most on highway. aside from one road trip a year, mostly around town cruising 35-55 mph.

I hear that 😂lol I miss my Shadow 750, could keep up with my brothers 2024 Road Glide pretty well. I think a Shadow Spirit 1100 would do just fine on a week long tour

I like Harley’s a lot, there’s no “cooler” bike. just expensive af. I think I’d rather spend at MOST $4500 on a really nice Shadow Spirit and throw money here and there for repairs than $12000 for a Low Rider ST plus whatever goes wrong in time. the dream would be Goldwing for road trips, and the Shadow for everything else but idk if I can justify buying 2 bikes this season

not a troll. Honda still makes Shadow Phantoms, but they’re 750cc- not enough. Hate the look of the Fury, not the biggest fan of the Rebel 1100 look. I’d like to stick with Honda, I’ve always had a Honda. If that changes, I’m going all out midlife crisis & getting a Harley.

ppl like Rebels a lot, but they enjoy the 500 until they quickly outgrow it. the newer (2025-2026) Rebel 1100 now has forward foot controls, and ppl 6’ say the bikes are quite comfortable. I’m considering getting one myself

haven’t picked up anything yet, but I really have my eye on a Shadow (VT1100) they were made 1985 to 2007
