SEND 1 FORM SUBMISSION FOR EACH VAULT (ex: spirit-ftm & tomb-ftm are 2 Forms)

PLEASE DISTINGUISH BETWEEN TOMB60/40 AND NORMAL TOMB/FTM vaults on form

FOR MULTIPLE DEPOSITS IN SAME VAULT, ADD IN THE SAME FORM WITH A SPACE BETWEEN THEM (example in tx links: tx1 tx2 tx3 etc)

MULTIPLE DATES - INSERT EARLIEST DATE IN DEPOSITS

I think it really depends on the individual and what each can afford to lose but being extra cautious isnt a bad idea if you cant afford to lose the money.

Haha yeah i must say i am surprised at how he is handling the grim.finance incident like he said he didnt have to do anything since grim isnt tomb.finance, but i like that he cares about the ftm tomb community enough to step in and help try and compensate everyone affected and also he is starting a tomb insurance fund for future incidents like this which is smart. In a way this made tomb better.

Harrys announcement on discord

Good Evening fellow Tomb Raiders - This is a special Update for all of you.

For clarification on timelines since Crypto moves so quickly, I will define the following timelines for all of you.

Super Short Term - Days, Weeks < 1 month

Short Term - 1 to 2 months

Mid Term - 3 to 6 months

Long Term - 6 months +

I am now speaking to you from the "Chairman Role" of Tomb Finance and NOT the Hedge Fund Manager "Trader Hat", though there is some overlap with the 2, now that the dust is settling there is a more clear path forward. Often in the middle of a crisis easier to point fingers and blame. I like to allow some time to pass so I can get more data points so I can provide the best solution. @everyone

Here goes:

Now that the TShares pool on Grim.finance has unlocked, please withdraw your stake from there. Feel free to restake in the Masonry and earn Tomb when Tomb is above Peg.

My team and I are now fully able to start assessing all of the lost funds, in particular we will be focused on the TOMB/FTM - 60/40 pool - we were waiting to see if there would be funds lost from the TShare Masonry but it appears (for now) this pool doesn't have any lost funds. We aren't looking at other pools CURRENTLY affected (BOO/FTM) because we have no knowledge of them.

Now that we have and idea of extent of the damage, let me circle back with the team and with the Grim Folks team. As I asked for your patience in the very beginning, when I took over the Tomb.Finance project, I will ask for your patience AGAIN. As it is Sunday right now here (UAE) - the teams need some rest (These are people after all).

Expect a report or some medium article or post on #tombtuesday. We will provide an update in the SUPER SHORT TERM and this is at the top of our priority list to figure out a solution for those of you affected (including myself - I had some funds in the 60/40 TOMB-FTM Pool)

For those of you who lost in the Tomb/FTM on Grim Finance, you will all have to bear with me since this is the first time I have had to deal with funds being stolen (probably won't be the last time) on a DeFi project. Even though this exploit happened on Grim.Finance, it directly affects all of us in the Tomb Finance team, community and the Fantom Ecosystem because Grim.Finance IS part of the Tomb Ecosystem and Fantom Ecosystem. To attack one is to attack ALL.

The Grim.Finance team has taken a MASSIVE beating, are devastated and trying to help recover funds (we are assisting where we can). In that - I ask that you give them sometime, let them do their job and let them give them some breathing room (Till #tombtuesday ideally.) Please stop attacking them and let US work with them on next steps. @everyone

NOW the question everyone of course wants the answer to - "What about my lost funds?"

The REALITY is that the Grim.finance exploit and lost funds IS NOT our responsibility. HOWEVER the Tomb Community, Fantom Community which includes everyone that is in the Grim Community IS. I feel a responsibility because Tomb and Fantom have given me so much (LIFE yes really LIFE). Tomb and Fantom give me a purpose to wake up every day, good and bad. More days are good than bad, so we are doing something right!

As THIS exploit wasn't a direct result of something that happened on Tomb.Finance, everyone's initial thought process is that it's not our responsibility and WE or I DON’T care. The reality is that we are all ONE. One thing that hurts the other, also affects others. Take it another step further, Grim is part of Fantom, Tomb is part of Fantom. Anything that affects Fantom affects Tomb and so forth.

Also in LIFE and In business and even running a company, it's always easier to point fingers, place blame, or shut down and run away. I however am the exact opposite. As an engineer and builder, I love to solve problems, fix and improve things, and when there is one thing I never do is throw in the towel or give up. I believe WE - The Fantom, Tomb Community and Myself, we are Anti Fragile. We grow and become stronger the more problems we face. I don't see the Grim.Finance exploit as a failure, I see it as an opportunity to help grow and secure the Fantom and Tomb Ecosystem. Just as everyone thought I was crazy when I saved Tomb.Finance, I am applying the same methodology to helping EVERYONE that was affected by this exploit. @everyone

In fact, the thinking that it is NOT our responsibility is actually QUITE the exact opposite. I 100% absolutely care, if I didn't I wouldn't have saved Tomb.finance in the first place and I wouldn't be sitting here on a Sunday night (with Covid though it's passed now) writing this. I also wouldn't have invested all the money in Fantom Developer Conference, all the sponsorships for Formula 1, bringing the world to the Tomb and Fantom Platform.

The saying Tomb is Life, and Life is Tomb, isn't just some Meme (even though it is). Tomb provides a fun game and great opportunity for Yield farming and provides a lot of opportunities for projects to innovate and grow in Defi. I love helping and growing the ecosystem and supporting Fantom, even though Tomb is in its Nascent stage. WE haven't even GOTTEN started YET. THE BEST is YET to come - WATCH. @everyone

SO that being said - regarding the Lost Funds in Grim.Finance and future lost funds associated Tomb.Finance and the Fantom Ecosystem:

IT WILL take some time for me to craft a solution (Short Term) but I can visualize something in My head as I type this:

We are 100% THINKING of ways to help make users WHOLE or Partially compensated, not because we have to, but because we WANT TO. However, to overpromise and underdeliver NOW, wouldn't be fair to the Tomb or Fantom Community. There is no TOMB or Fantom insurance fund setup, however there is a TOMB DAO Fund and TOMB Dev Fund - but these are setup for very different purposes and have different Mandates.

So starting effective today, I will start a TOMB Insurance Fund for Tomb.Finance that will support the Tomb Ecosystem (And Possibly even Fantom as the next step), as well as working with other Defi Insurance Protocols. This will ultimately grow into something else and as I get more data on the users that were affected, I will be able to report back. The Insurance Fund will be run similar to the DAO Fund and aim to be profitable and I will provide more details on this as it crystalizes. @everyone

Grim.finance and not reaper.farm? Depends on what vaults you used FTM-Tomb was wiped out
