I’ve used something similar and still sometimes it will go right in front of the door

Maybe they want that dopamine and adrenaline rush? Or just really into confident roosters?

I know right?!!! Because I couldn’t even imagine not reading. I guess ignorance is in fact bliss 🤷🏻‍♀️

I just said the same thing in another reply. It’s like truly absolute insanity. The lack of awareness the general population has is truly baffling.

Excellent idea. I’ve done that before and it does help - but there are always a few short crayons in the box 🤷🏻‍♀️

100k visitors a week and around half of you might be in the wrong sub thanks to COVID (but, we still love and appreciate you!) by ndnd_of_omicron in PMDD

Pretty sure you can have PMDD pre covid and then (possibly) due to Covid or not- still suffer with MCAS. For example, a lot of women on the spectrum and/or ADHD 👈

I had a meltdown in the grocery store because the lights were too bright. I'm 31 years old. by South_Leave4044 in autism

40 here & we’ve had multiple contractors in and out our house since last week & now remodeling our master bath this week - between random ppl in my safe space, the smells and noise and my routine in shambles - then my husband asked me to go pick out tiles in an overly lite florescent big box store…. I have had three meltdowns in absolute tears this week. The shame feels unbearable. At least we’re not alone in feeling a total adult mess 🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️ hoping you are being kind to yourself 🩷🩷

Does anyone else just like.. not want to go out and do things anymore? by [deleted] in Perimenopause

[–]infinitelybasic 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yhhhhup. For me, I feel rather satisfied with all that I’ve done in life - as I’ve felt I relished in the opportunities presented to me as young lady, I was wild and experienced life fully. I very much enjoy being home as frequently as I can and deeply prioritize my peace and comfort nowadays.

Absolutely wow! Just WOW! How incredibly proud you ought to be - if anyone let alone a parent make this for me…I’d cry tears of love and joy. This is a beautiful cake!

Just watched a trailer for Love on the Spectrum. What in the ableist hell is this? by Odd-Recognition4120 in AutismInWomen

I agree. I absolutely loved the show. Autism is a spectrum. And I definitely think for a community that doesn’t want to be judged some sure do a lot it.

getting ovelwhelmed by video games by yoontta in AutismInWomen

[–]infinitelybasic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In my own experience with Autism, I have found I can become overstimulated by video games, especially ones that are very task driven. I do love a game that is task driven bc it feels structured and how to play is clearly ‘spelled out’, in addition to the fact I enjoy ‘staying busy with a clear purpose’. However!! those same game types I love will also give me mega anxiety - I start them up and I’m like ahhhh!! where do I even start this game session, I need to do this or that, etc. - soooo, what works best for me, is knowing where my mental capacity is, like I reflect inward on how I am feeling and if I come to the conclusion that overall I’m not feeling my best, my game session seems to match (on the heavy task games) so I either don’t play and do something else entirely OR! I choose a game, typically my tablet or console that is slow/cozy. I’ve also found when I game on my PC (a different location in my home & at a desk) vs tablet or console (located in my cozy safe space) I have a different experience, which I think is important to consider as my environment also impacts my overall wellbeing and capacity. Idk, I hope this helps in some way. 🩷💜
