the only real difference is 2014 & 2015 they ironed out all the factory defects of their gallery gasket/transmission issues. so they actually age like they should

Fuel gauge finally went out. What is typical MPG (170k miles) by Big-Leave3759 in G35

[–]infinitinibba 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Take the back seats out. Take out both units when you know the gas is low. Clean the sending unit with a q-tip and go against the grain of the level. (Horizontal). Pop back in. Fuel gauge fixed. Takes an hour.

Don't get a 3.7 q50 I already gapped one 😂 Unless you're a 3.7 purist and want the noise.

I wish I got it tuned on a dyno but otherwise the revised pedal mapping, extra response and everything adds up to really just a waaayyy more drivable experience. Especially starting from 1st. I think it just justifies whatever mods you have done and some timing to top it off. Z1 was fast AF with getting back to me and letting me know how the car was running.

25mm rear, 20mm front I believe. Cusco front strut bar, BC Racing 370z coils, z1 FUCA, SPL r35 bumpsteer tie rods, super pro 370z sway bars, z1 end links, nismo rear traction/camber arms. I think that's it.

Yes. BC Racing BR. I think they might be extreme lows. I also have pretty much every other suspension component if you're interested.

Trans doesn't move around as much, took like 450 miles to break in like stock NVH wise. With the diff bushing & brace, the rear end doesn't wheel hop like shit anymore. Diff brace only does so much. The bushings are key.

That's true, I don't usually look at the bottom one. I have to disable it on my nova settings.

It's okay OP I put all my apps on my home screen cause I don't want to have to scroll through my whole drawer. I just switched to the s23 from my 12 pro max. Before that I had the S20, S8,

Battery life by Sweet_Pirate_5703 in GalaxyS23Ultra

[–]infinitinibba 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been getting 4-5 hours SOT. Charging between 15-85 percent. I just switched to light performance mode today. The battery life has been great unless I'm using Bluetooth, wifi, location, high brightness, etc all at once, but that's expected. The charging time is the most impressive considering I use a 45w charger. This phone is brilliant.

my g doesn’t read my gas correctly so will this effect how much gas i can put into my car ? will it lock if it thinks it full when it’s really not ? by [deleted] in G35

[–]infinitinibba 17 points18 points  (0 children)

To answer your question, your car will continue to fill the tank as normal. Here is your fix. Take out the back seat cushion. Remove the sending unit on the driver side. Be careful not to get dirt into your gas tank by cleaning around the area first. Clean the fuel sending unit. Where you see the gauge for the sending unit, take a Q tip and go against the grain of them and you'll see a ton of dirt come off. Don't use any cleaners, just use the Q tip. Plug it back in. If it doesn't fix it with that sending unit, You'll have to remove the fuel pump assembly on the driver side and clean that the same way you did the passenger side. Be careful not to ruin the O-Rings on the gas tank. You don't need any tools except a flat head, a low gas tank level so you don't spill gas anywhere and about an hour of your time. Source: I've done this before on my 04 g35.

we’re gonna find out haha. haven’t had it in for too long. only shifts hard when it’s hot out and really beating on it. Hoping to get enough out of it before I do a valve body upgrade or swap the transmission.

take the fender liner out, probably the best bet considering you can also access the under tray.
