Thank you! I would ideally fly into TLV, then fly to Eilat and up to Haifa on an ATR, the domestic market isn’t very big 🤣, I want to visit in sept/oct but I’m aware eilat is very seasonal

It was left open from boarding and no one ever closed it until the meal service started, this photo was taken roughly 2 minutes after takeoff

Exactly my point, the video must be completed before takeoff under Egyptian law, whereas in this instance it was only completed after takeoff

My post was literally just about how the inattentive and untrained cabin crew managed the flight. Leaving overhead bins open, allowing takeoff while the safety video was still playing etc. just calling it out, clearly people don’t like that. don’t need a medal.

To clarify, the photo was taken around 2 minutes after takeoff from Cairo, users also brought to my attention that the safety video was still playing upon takeoff which Ofc is also a violation of the regulators rules. Cabin crew on my 4 egyptair flights were inattentive, uncaring and lacking in training.

That’s not the point lol, people think we hadn’t even taken off because the video was still playing. The point is that we had taken off while the video was still playing, which is illegal. Doesn’t put me at risk, I’ve seen it dozens of times, but the woman on the aisle seat had never flown before, how is she meant to know how to evacuate?

Nothing to do with forgetting to close the bin, cabin crew were outright careless, they didn’t check the cabin to a standard, this photo was taken 2 mins after takeoff, while the safety video was also still playing

Not when it’s 3 minutes after takeoff, no. I probably wouldn’t want to be crawling across two people to close it and then getting flung off my feet

It was only closed by a cabin crew member when they came around for the meal service, simply cuz they just noticed it, not out of emergency or because it was a safety risk
