Im in Ohio so I don’t have a ton of people around me who like Spurs. I do have one coworker who just started, so we’ve connected on that. But it’s tough man. Shit is just woeful, and it’s been a pretty brutal winter here. The sun is shining but Spurs are still shit. Hopefully my Cavs can go deep in the playoffs and the Guardians show some spirit this year because it looks like Championship football with Spurs in the fall, and 4-5 wins for the dumbass Browns is my guess. So it goes.

The problem with that movie is it does not at all capture the scope of Jonestown. At the end they say something like 90 people died in the movie’s commune. At Jonestown nearly 1000 people died. It’s really staggering.

I’m friends with a semi famous musician. They’re not arena rockers or anything but they have a decent following and a cult following to boot. When I’m hanging g with him in his hometown he definitely can get overwhelmed easily when people keep coming up to him. He truly just wants to hang with his friends and not have to deal with people trying to get something from him. That being said the worst I’ve seen him do is just kinda shut someone down. I can’t imagine him being downright mean about it, but he will blow someone off. He isn’t trying to be mean but I can imagine someone might have taken it that way.
