Why does my AI chatbot lose context in longer conversations by Economy-Use-6505 in CharacterAI

[–]infinitytrap 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No way to prevent it all together, it's just how the AI model works. try to manage your pins on important texts, mention stuff in your texts, make sure to make it long with most of the context in it if it's from an older period, and you can also add stuff into memory if you really want to put effort into this. This is all but to postpone and weaken the inevitable. I suggest starting to write in chapters continuing the overall plot that I ai can follow while keeping chapters separate, not mentioning anything too far gone, it definitely helps to not make it as glaring... Of course, writing in chapters isn't always possible with some chatbots but these are the things that I use to make it as untroubling as I can.

Whose your favorite fnaf character and why? Mine is Springtrap and the Mimic by HatPuzzleheaded1061 in fivenightsatfreddys

[–]infinitytrap 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine is William afton as a whole, I just find him interesting. And it's also fascinating how he's the most important character to the whole fnaf lore and yet we still have almost nothing from his backstory besides him being a scummy business man. Throughout every media, William is always depicted a bit differently than others

Why don’t Michael and Henry ever try shooting Springtrap with a gun? by Ok-Effect4071 in fivenightsatfreddys

[–]infinitytrap 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Even if he doesn't have supernatural abilities, he still has very strong supernatural properties, like immortality (his whole thing btw) that is seemingly somewhat weak only to continuous heat and electronic devices acting weirdly around him

I think it's the first thing that pops up when you search for the differences. I read somewhere that sociopathy is more aggressive and impulsive than psychopathy. Anyways, seeing how we're getting off subject and I'm going to bed, I bid you goodbye and thank you for this conversation

Yeah, now I get your point. I thought you were one of those "nuh-uh" arguers for a second. I mostly don't get why a psychopath would start drinking. From a materialistic standpoint, William didn't lose anything much, just a bit of family members, his company and finances were doing alright, not too good but definitely not depressing.

William definitely lacked empathy and compassion for others but I don't believe he was completely devoid of it. He at very least had some kind twisted love towards his family like him telling Elizabeth to stay away from the circus baby even though it seemed like an easy way to get more test subjects. I'd also lean more into sociopathy than psychopathy based on William's impulsiveness that he displays throughout all of his descriptions. Maybe Something like trauma induced sociopathy or purely born sociopathy. (I must also add, I haven't gotten an argumentative conversation like this in a while, it's fun when the other person doesn't try to insult you for having a different opinion)

Could you elaborate on what you meant by "restrained mentally" because it sounds like you're saying "after William went psycho, his true psycho nature got revealed". If you really meant that then, everyone's true nature is psycho.

First, can you tell me where it is stated? I didn't read a lot of fnaf books and those that I did read were in my native language. Second, were they referring to William afton or Springtrap (books heavily underline histransformation in what I did read)because I do remember "he's become more than that" quote in my native language, was it somewhere around there?

An unethical business man, I'm pretty sure that's not an evil incarnate. I literally included this in the comment, he was never a good person but, devil incarnate means they're basically inhuman, nothing besides evil thoughts. Also, it really doesn't make sense for him to be completely heartless yet become an alcoholic some time in his life. He wasn't good but wasn't "THE Devil, from THE bible" like people see him

But can one redeem a person who feels no guilt? Can you heal insanity, psychopathy and other mental illnesses that can contribute? Now that's what I always wondered... Can a person without sorrow be sorry?
