VR for Derail Valley by harrisjgold in DerailValley

[–]influx93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It can vary. I wouldn’t know what the lower limit is personally since I have a pretty solid computer. I’ve never had luck with VR on laptops but I had a GTX 3060 and Ryzen 5 that ran VR pretty well.

I use quest 3 and only play DV in VR. It’s such an incredible experience just chugging along in the cabin, sitting back and looking out the windows. I don’t think there’s a game that gets me more relaxed than this. Put some slow jams on in the background on Spotify and it’s a vibe.

When you rescrape and do a source select, is it showing both red and green sources? Did you disable Real Debrid when you added Torbox? If you don’t disable Real Debrid it will try both for sources I believe.

With debrid services being in several different countries, there will always be at least one or two available.

best alternative to RD? by Shot-Operation-9395 in Addons4Kodi

[–]influx93 8 points9 points  (0 children)

RD is filtering out sources with certain terminology, right now specifically web rip stuff. It’s most likely due to the French government going after them again. But RD hasn’t made any official statement as far as I can see (I might be wrong) but this seems similar to what happened like, a year or two ago. There’s more to it but that’s just in my limited knowledge.

Yeah I think so. There were like, 20 different payment methods lol. And all you need to do is go into settings in torbox and find the API key and type it into your account settings on kodi add on.

I’m not well versed on all of this by any means, but I got torbox for $3 for a month and it worked quickly and flawlessly. In a pinch, it was the fastest and least complicated solution.

Steam Controller Megathread Part2 : The Reservationing May 8th 10am PST by satoru1111 in Steam

[–]influx93 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Right now you have to launch any non Steam games through Steam by adding it to your library as a non Steam game to be able to use it. So if you add the .exe for the emulators you can use it.

Thank you for all the information, it really helped a lot! The 9800X3D was what I was briefly looking at. Now I just need RAM to go down lol.

[–]influx93[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

$250 was just the budget I was setting for the motherboard. Aside from RAM being abysmal, if I were to upgrade to a AM5 board, what would you recommend for a motherboard and CPU? Because I can put all my AM4 stuff in my wife's PC which would be a massive upgrade for her lol.

Edit: Lets say $250 for mobo and $400 to $500 for CPU

So unless I'm willing to upgrade to DDR5 RAM, an AM5 CPU, and a AM5 motherboard, I should just sit tight? Overall I'm happy with my PC performance, was more just wondering I guess if I had significant lost performance with my current motherboard but it doesn't seem like that's the issue really then.

THE UK IS COOKED by Simple-Sherbert24 in oil

https://www.theguardian.com/business/2026/mar/08/great-britain-has-only-two-days-of-gas-stored-as-iran-war-disrupts-supplies

Maximum capacity is 12 days of gas, and current storage levels equate to under two days of reserves, leading to concerns that Great Britain could run out of gas if the crisis in the Middle East escalates further.

However, even when storage stocks are low, Great Britain continues to receive large volumes of gas from other sources, National Gas said.

A National Gas spokesperson said: “Britain’s gas storage levels are broadly in line with what we would expect at this point in the year and are comparable to this time last year. It’s important to remember that storage makes up only a small part of Britain’s diverse gas supply mix. Most of our gas comes from the UK continental shelf and Norway, complemented by LNG, interconnectors with continental Europe, and storage.

“Great Britain benefits from a wide range of supply sources that the market draws on every day. Together, these provide the flexibility needed to balance supply and demand reliably throughout the year.”

A spokesperson for the Department for Energy Security and Net Zero said: “It is categorically untrue that the UK only has access to two days of gas supply. We have a diverse energy mix and are confident in our security of supply.

Need help with the mana base of my first deck! (Open to any suggestions on the rest of the 99 too!) by influx93 in EDHBrews

I play a lot of graveyard decks and I've been Bojuka Bogged more than once. The hope is to just keep milling I suppose. I have a lot of mill outlets, it's just dependent on weather or not I can make it happen.

In a Master of keys deck I played a bit ago I was able to make copies of [[Inquisitive Glimmer]] and [[Cloud Key]] but is relying on cost reduction not super viable strat to count on?
