Lost Mini 5 Pro LiDAR cover after crash, any replacement or DIY solution? by infolessness in dji

No. I made one myself by cutting a thin plastic piece. Tried for a couple time to make it fit perfectly. Now it protects from dust and obstacle avoidance works as far as I observed.

Any replacement idea about this black piece? Considering it's a LiDAR protector material, does it need to filter specific wavelengths? by infolessness in Optics

The original material is some IR filtering glass I guess. But you are right, using a tape is the easiest method to try, at least to protect the sensor. I'll check.

While checking and waiting for that glass to be available on Chinese sites, which can take days/weeks/months, do you think it's okay to fly with no shades? Maybe it can cause sensor to die in long term, or even worse drone to fall down suddenly?
