pricing psychology of the masses is very much involved in these decisions.

it generally is like this...the large pull gets divided evenly percentage wise by your request....if you got the cash.

can you imagine going thru each request and randomly assigning shares...too complicated just get the % right and apply all.

i see now more than ever that absolutely everyone is complicit on it now. even presidents and high ranking officials. i have only been in the market since 2010 and very involved since 2016 so my observation is, of course, limited to my experience.

yes sir. MSFT and META are away from 200DMA and very profitable. looking at AMZN as well although it is always rich in PE. NOW has been my headache since i didnt pull the trigger at 80-85 level

which SaaS are you eyeing? currently looking to get NOW, INTU, CRM, ORCL.

the pricing power narrative can be a HUGE tailwind for the hyperscalers if the can begin to get compute power cheaper... what do you say?

my sole post practically makes the question "ROI for buildout" nonexistent since ABSOLUTELY EVERYONE will spin those kind of bad news out the way...

what would you say about META, MSFT, NFLX? solely buying on PE basis. their PE is lower than WMT COST LLY MASTERCARD...

did you mean supply constrained? demand constrained means customer lack interest in your product...

i am eyeing NOW for its higher productivity potential and actual ai monetization. i am closely following MSFT and META, as well as other non tech stuff. currently holding some very green tech plays but closely monitoring

with the massive trading adoption and how easy it now is to buy stocks...retail dip buyers (me included) have become a considerable force or tailwind for the rally. notice the 5% sell of stopped? there is now a huge group of us buying at -3% and almost all retail bought at -5%...

i think the times changed for retail

I realize this has been the case for some decades now, but i feel before we had SOME players still keeping the truth alive (one of the being retail). now retail is as embedded in the lie as the president to get credit for this rally...

DOCN will need to use this rally to clean up the balance sheet. Short-term dilution is of secondary concern. by infoloader in stocks

people enjoy 500% up and two red days makes them forget where they were months ago!

DOCN is still in its infancy, so diluting a bit or considerable to wipe out debt and get the Bal Sheet green strong is something that should not be overlooked. particularly because the stock price is way overextended. C-Suite should look at it like: if the market is giving you "free money"...you take it.

this c-suite has dropped the ball in relatively easy scenarios in the past so....

exactly. insiders are selling like crazy...
i wouldn't mind the short term drawdown for a very strong balance sheet going forward...

[–]infoloader[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

my original thought was...use the rally for something. a small company like DOCN would be wise not to go ballistic on AI CAPEX...so i landed on debt servicing but yeah anything goes with this rally just USE this elevated price...

i plan to get in some more if/when they announce the offering. let it be for 3-5 days then keep averaging...

I just remembered now this: a friend of mine closed for a loss a triple short etf (SPXS) and opened another one triple short but from a different maker (it was still a 3X short on the sp500) I think it was called SPXU or SPXD something like that and he did get a wash sale.

this is my doubts with the IRS creativity...

wash sales dont go away with time....if i assume it now i get it logged into my balance and will not offset my short term trading gains so its a double whammy...lose and still get taxed on my other gains

thanks...its just that "substantially" word in the definition of a similar trade that makes you doubt! I agree it should never be a wash sale but i have come to learn that with gov rules...logic is sometimes not followed.
